Great food and staff

The new owners have made this a pleasant place to go for a drink or for a meal. The food is well cooked and presented. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The Ring o Bells has not only improved but maintained its impressive standard. We have eaten here on a few occasions and genuinely enjoy the unique atmosphere and excellent, fair priced menu. Favourite at the moment is pan fried lamb's liver with crispy pancetta on a bed of mash potato. The Balti also went down very well last night. Although... More

Visited here with my hubby & 3 kids for tea - the staff were really friendly & obliging. Lovely quirky pub - I like the fact there are lots of little separate areas to eat - my kids can be quite noisy so it's nice to not be sat on top of everyone else! The food was great, you definitely... More

This is a JW Lees pub with very well kept real ale and good quality pub food. If you've been in the past and been disappointed try again as it's under new management and is far better than previously - food much improved and nice, friendly and welcoming service. I go at least once a week with business colleagues and... More

Had dinner here with about 10 other people. Food was very average pub food, nothing wrong with it but also nothing special. Very traditional menu. Service was very quick I have to say, and drinks were nice.

My husband and I visited on Easter Sunday. My husband is a real ale buff and remarked on the good, well kept beers. We ate here. The menu is extensive. He had the fish and chips I had a steak burger and chips. His fish he said was nice and the beer batter tasty and the chips of a good... More

Dined here earlier this week, super friendly service, well cooked & presented food. J.W. Lees head office must be scratching their heads, wondering how this leasehold pub has shot to the top of preferred places to eat in Frodsham, whilst their sister pub (managed house) at the bottom of the road is grossly under performing, despite major financial investment, management... Visited on way back from a trip to the Wirral. Staff friendly and attentive. Food was served piping hot although the wait for service was a bit too long. Good selection of beers (John Willy Lees) and reasonably priced for the area. Will certainly visit again.

No point in starting to qualify this restaurant in a higher category than a pub with very good eating facilities. The tables are set in various nooks and crannies throughout the establishment and you get a solid selection of choices from a menu and a specials board. Very cosy with helpful and understanding staff who go out of their way... More

Visited Frodsham for a Sunday stay. Called into the Ring O Bells for a couple of drinks, a lovely traditional pub. Friendly staff. A lovely looking restaurant made us call back later in the evening for our dinner. Cannot fault the staff and food. We had two courses which were reasonably priced at £12.95. Made to feel very welcome and... More
