Good food, good service

Called in here a few days back with the family for a bite to eat. Staff were all friendly and attentive and made a fuss over the kids, making the feel grown up etc. Service was great, food was of a good standard and at a very reasonable price. Would call back here again and can recommend.

Has a great TV room in an outbuilding. Keeps the sport fans out of main bar. Car park is now pay and display so be careful.

I was visiting family last weekend in Chester and we thought we'd pop to see a family friend on Frodsham. We popped into the bears paw mainly because it was so oldy looking and appealing. When we went in we were greeted with the biggest smile and welcoming by a little lady with glasses who was the bubbliest lady I've... More

Not a good experience - food is not good quality and not well cooked, and not even that cheap for what is on offer. I'd try somewhere else instead.

We decided to have some eats and watch the match at this famous Frodsham pub. Very surprised to find a big table in front of a big screen. The group ordered a mix of burgers and sandwiches, all of which were to a decent enough pub standard. Unfortunately our food from ordering to arriving was well over the acceptable 35... More

I booked a Christmas lunch for 8 with a lovely lady called Elysia who when I initally contacted about her about this, could not be more helpful 😀 The customer service I received from Elysia was brilliant, and even called me back when she said she would! When we arrived the table was all ready and was beautifully decorated. The... More

We stayed at lady heyes in the pods and visited the bear paws. Such a welcoming feeling and friendly atmosphere. Food was incredible and very tasty with a Farley low price tag. Would defiantly go back. The staffs attitude made it feel like this was your local pub, so friendly and cheerful.

Visited here as staying in the Cheshire glamping pods at Lady Heyes Caravan campsite and popped into town for a meal and drink. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Lovely bar snacks and fair prices Will definitely visit again

Visited here with a friend, really nice pub with a great atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Had the chicken and chorizo and my friend had halloomi and chips. Both delicious and freshly made. Very good value too.
