Lovely meal with good friends

Yet another enjoyable meal was had with good friends. Fortunately the staff were a little more attentive then previous which made the world of difference. The meal was beautifully presented & tasted devine. Will definitely be dining here again when we're next in Frodsham. Keep up the good work.

With close relatives I had a very pleasant and scrumptious lunch at the Old Hall today. Lunch times are never very busy there during the week so it was fairly quiet. It was a market day on the High Street outside so perhaps that accounted to some extent for the lack of diners. Most market shoppers are not looking for... More

The Old Hall is in Frodsham's main street, just opposite the post office. The building is rather older than it looks and the parking well hidden. The parking is down the left hand side of the building as you look at it. The road looks like a short delivery yard but keep going and through a not very visible arch... More

I found this average, I was not greatly impressed, the service was below par and the meal could have been better.

This was our first time at this restaurant. We went with friends who have frequented regularly. First impressions were good. There is an 'olde worlde' feel about the place and staff were very welcoming. The ala carte menu was varied although not particularly expansive. Prices were reasonable - up to £19 for a main with a two course deal of... More

The restaurants areas are cosy little rooms, the one we had had a fire and a couple of sofas and was lovely and inviting on a Sunday after a long walk in Delamere, We went to the restaurant for afternoon tea. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant was very busy - they were working very hard to serve everyone.... More

After the service for John Anderson, a very well respected local man, the family invited attendees to join them at The Old Hall. Not somewhere I often visit but I was well impressed. The building has old world charm with a number of rooms of varying sizes to suit groups. Real ale and a wide range of other drinks at... More
