Best ever tarka dhal

Great food and friendly helpful staff, always happy to advise on choice. Curries tend to be on hot side of definition. Eg. Their Madras is too hot for me, whereas, I can usually handle a Madras.

Recently visited. Food was great. Had the sylhety as never heard of it before. Sure was hot! Lovely place and staff. Only complaints are that the actual restaurant was really cold. Overheard other customers mentioning this too. My wife's red wine was also cold - served at room temperature, literally.

Good service, reasonable prices and a relaxed atmosphere. Recommend both the veggie & non-veggie thalis - great value and they're flexible about content if you want to vary the "heat" a little!

Dropped in without booking for a swift meal while in the area and delighted by the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff. Although it was a busy Saturday night, I was served promptly, the dishes were clearly freshly prepared and tasty - a good experience. Check out the excellent Sunday buffet too..

I've been coming here for years and the food is always good. Everyone I bring here seems to enjoy it. It's also worth noting that it won a hygiene award. Only reason I haven't given it 5 star is 5 star food is a level up from basic Indian cuisine.

Firstly I would like to say We get our takeaways from Frodsham Tandoori quite often and always enjoy it. However, we visited the buffet tonight with our 3 year old daughter. She had 2 pieces of cucumber and possibly half a poppadum. When we got the bill they charged us £5.95 which we laughed at saying what she ate. The... More

After my last review, I received a response, asking that we re-visit, for a free meal and drink. This we did, last Friday evening, and what a difference. We shared an Onion Bhaji, which was a delight, and our main meals were absolutely excellent. The staff were very friendly, and were keen to hear our thoughts. Can only thank them... More
