This place is perfectly location at the start of the pedestrian zone in downtown Bitburg. The German cuisine is pretty good. The big negative for me is that the downstairs is smoking and it travels upstairs. I prefer to sit outside durning the warmer months. Worth a stop.

I took my friend and his Fiance, visiting from America, to Bit-Stuben, we all had the same thing deep fried chicken (A signature dish from this Restaurant) My friends fiance chicken was not cooked through and totally bloody in the middle! They took it back, as my friend and my dinner got cold, and cooked it more for her. They... More

This is a nice cosy feeling restaurant, serving decent German cuisine and a good beer. Friendly service and a place where I've been several times for a mid-day/late afternoon lunch. I'm not really sure if it would be a place I'd choose to go out for an extended evening dinner. However it's worth a visit if you're in Bitburg.

We have eaten at dozens of German restaurants but we continue to frequent Bit Stuben. I have tried at least half the menu and have never been disappointed. The french onion soup is a great starter and the salads are well balanced. Their steak and pork dishes are hearty and delicious. It's a great atmosphere and the interior, especially upstairs,... I have traveled to Bitburg for many years on business and have never had a problem finding good food. After checking into my hotel I generally walk the fussganger zone to the end where one finds the Bit-Stuben, the right place for food in Bitburg. This is a combination German Cafe', Restaurant, and Bierstube. The bar area downstairs is for... More

We went there not very hungry, so we asked for a salad and a potato soup. It came about 45 mins after. It was good quality food, and it was cheap, but service/kitchen is not the fastest. Go there if you have time to lose :)

We were there with 18 people for dinner and got a long table together on the first floor of the nice restaurant in the center of the town. The German/Eifel food choice was more than sufficient and the food very good, incl wild things (deer, recommended!), The prices were also adequate. It did take quite a long time before we... More

The second floor is the place to be. It has actual antiques that you can sit in. If you are a small group, sitting by the window and watching the world go by is a great thing to do. Downstairs is more of a pub atmosphere. The food is good and is known for being the place of the "chicken... More

We had dinner a few times while visiting the Eiffel region. I loved the over stuffed chairs and loveseats that are used at the tables upstairs. The food was very good and especially the goulassezuppe!! Casual dress, and families welcome.

This is the spot in Bitburg if you want a local Eifel spread of foods. They have a large menu with more choices than one should need. Plenty of different types of meats and fish as well. The whole building is the restaurant actually but as stated the bar is located down stairs with a more 'fine' dining experience located... More
