Sitting down at our table, we could tell from the expressions of the other guests, that something was wrong. They looked irritated, and we soon realized that it was because of the service. Everybody was waiting for something, appetizer, wine, the check or something else. Although we realized this was going to take time, we decided to stay because we... More

Good food, fair prices, plenty of choice. Try the pasta with swordfish or any other fish dish - it's excellent (as are the desserts).

This place was suggested to us by the receptionist of our hotel and we went there for a nice dinner, since it was my dad's birthday that day. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. We had to wait considerably longer than normal before someone came to take our order and food was ok. Definitely not bad, but also not anything... More

We had great antipasti (plate of cheese, caponata & sausage) but were disapointed with the wine (average despite the great selection...) & our main courses. Meat had obviously been frozen and de-frozen & the contornis were not fresh either. Having said that, it seems the best option in San Leone!

Although the staff was nice and they were trying to serve guests well we were disappointed of mussel soup which had strong ammonia taste and small portion of average tortellini (although they were described as delicious stuffed maccaroni) which werent seasoned enough. Caponata had funny stale taste, not refreshing at all. We were seating at the table in the first... More

Fairly standard Italian fare. Fresh and good quality but our spaghetti vongole was much too salty. Sicilian cassata for dessert was excellent. It was very quiet when we were there (8:30 Thursday) and lacked atmosphere.

It was a relatively quiet night and we had the trio of smoked fish which was reportedly good and the limoncello prawns which were ok but nothing special. My first choice fish main course was not available. Had fried mixed seafood which was average. The swordfish pasta was good. Staff were personable. Overall the food was good but far from... More

The food here was of very high quality and yet very simple. My wife had a simple pasta with a red pomodoro sauce that looked out of the freshest tomatoes and tasted out of this world, with fried eggplant and the local classical ricotta. My kid had steak, which is not the common thing to have in Sicily (but that... More

Came here for our final group meal on our 10 day Rick Steve's Sicily Tour. Located close to the beach in San Leone and served a three course lunch with dessert. The antipasto included a variety of seafood delights (honestly enough for a meal by itself) followed by a pasta dish which included anchovies, wild fennel and red mullet (outstanding....the... More
