Ate here twice when staying at Les Tulipiers in May with a group of 8. Both meals were superb for all of us, service was really friendly. But the food was exceptional - the confit duck I had both times was so simple, but so full of flavour! The rest of the table also had similarly excellent food. Well worth... More

Small typically French restaurant. The starter was really nice with a good mains and desert. Service was excellant but remember you are in France and they don't rush the food to you. Just relax and enjoy the experience. Well used by the French and very busy.

We ate as a foursome on a quiet Tuesday evening at the end of September. We had not booked, but were seated at a lovely round table, there were two other tables eating. As it is quite small inside , it felt nicely buzzing, but not cramped. The food was lovely, the wine excellent, the service utterly charming. Will certainly eat... More

What a fantastic restaurant. Went as part of a wedding party, incredible food and wonderful friendly atmosphere. I lost my mobile phone whilst visiting and the hosts saved it for me,!! unfortunately we cannot always expect that kind of honesty, how refreshing.

I Booked that restaurant very short notice for 22 peoples, i called them at 5h30pm to book for 8pm and they were very accommodating, the food was from local sources and just fantastic, the service was also top notch. I cannot thank them enough for the lovely experience we all had eating there. Just go and enjoy. Steeve le francais... More

Our reservation, taken by the husband, was missing, so we got the seated in the ugly backroom next to the bar. No windows, glaring overhead light, no ventilation; we felt like the bad little kids who were forced to sit in the corner. My foie gras was a rectangle without any grace or charm and too cold to be enjoyed... More

The food and the service were excellent. The place was nicely decorated and had a buzzing character. The soup was really nice and was a novelty that we enjoyed.

We have visited Le Chabrot twice this year and have enjoyed our meal on both occasions. The menus offered include a 22€ menu, a 36€ menu or a la carte. We have chosen the 22€ menu on both occasions and have not been disappointed. The signature dish, soupe de canard Chabrot comes with a small glass of red wine following... More

Excellent three course lunchtime menu for 12.50 euros with a bit more attention to detail than usual at this sort of price. Knuckle of ham was mouth-watering and strawberry dessert was delicious. Nice house wine for a reasonable price too. The small restaurant has a warm and friendly ambience, a real gem in a rather unexciting town.

What a fantastic place! Accommodating a very hungry group of 20 people and offering us some wonderful food and service. My ribeye was top draw and friends who opted for the duck said that this was delicious too. Thank you. We'll be back the next time we come to Riberac for some wine tasting.
