Amazing to find such authentic thai food in the small town of Riberac, and the restaurante is run by some of the nicest people you'll meet.

Sadly now closed - the notice on the door says they will be opening a new restaurant in Bordeaux (Thong Thai) in September 2014. We were very disappointed having enjoyed several lovely meals here in the past.

Simply the best Thai meal I've had outside of Thailand. Delicious flavours seved up by a French / Thai couple who have got a winning combination of providing a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service with taste bud dancing food. We arrived just as the restaurant was opening at 7pm and were given a table upstairs via the v tight and small... More

Yes, it's small. Yes, you have to book, that's because everything is made from scratch and they do need to know how many to prepare for. Not cheap but worth paying for the quality that you get. Good food from friendly people, you should eat there often.

We tried a few restaurants in the local area and this was our favourite and the one we chose to return to on our last night. Food and host both great and the tiny interesting restaurant made for a nice atmosphere. I am surprised by other reviews - we thought this was comparatively good value to other restaurants in Riberac,... More

My wife and i have been here a few times over the years and we like it. We do agree that the portions arent that big but we usually order a few starters to share before we each have a main course. This does increase the price a bit but the food and the quality are very good indeed. The... More

You'll find Le Petit Thai tucked away in a tiny side street a few doors from Bar du Midi in the Place Nationale. A cosy bit of Thailand hidden away waiting to be discovered. You can sit in, out or upstairs (some navigation skills needed as there is a very steep sprial staircase) in one of the tiny balcony alcoves... More
