Traditional, but up to date food, using local ingredients from the market (catch the chef on a Friday in the Market and follow him around, he knows all the best places)

An excellent meal for 25. Nédia and Philippe helped to arrange and produced menus to choose from. Always smiling, always helpful and the meal was a great success with good food, good wine and a buzzing atmosphere. Too easy to miss this restaurant but with lots of parking to the rear it is well worth a visit at lunch or... More

This was such a lovely surprise. From the outside you think pretty ordinary but go over the threshold and a very warm welcome awaits you with some superb cuisine. We sat outside admiring a beautiful sunset as we were served delightful food and drank lovely wine.

I was VERY happy to find this lovely restaurant this week. It is slightly away from the main area, but well worth finding. There were two of us, we do not speak the lingo. The LOVELY lady understood us well enough though and us her. The previous reviewer has told you so much about this place so I will just... More

My wife and I chose this restaurant based on other reviews on here, and also because the night we went a couple of other ones in the area with good reviews were closed. This restaurant we think suffers from being just on the edge of the town, a little away from the shops, although if driving, parking is easy with... More

This place is very easy to miss from the outside, but is worth a visit. The inside is nicely decorated and modern. The welcome was good and the food also very good.

This is a restaurant that your dream to find in France. The food and atmosphere is just what you would expect from a classic restaurant. Off street parking is a bonus.

We lunched today in an atmosphere of warmth and conviviality at Nédia and Philippe's town centre restaurant aptly named "Le Commensal" (table companion). The menu du jour was very good value and you could also eat a la carte if you wished, where there were about 3 choices each of entrée, plat and dessert/cheese. There were local Bordeaux and Bergerac... More

This is where I went for my birthday based upon the recommendations of locals. It was a great and pleasurable dining experience. I had no regrets going there and would heartily recommend it to anyone traveling in the area! Food and beverages were all excellent in taste and flavor.
