The closet you can get to actually eating in the garden!

During my time in Tudela, I had many opportunities to eat at Trinquete. My first time was like coming home to visit family. Chef Santi, his wife Elena and their daughter were so welcoming and waited on me hand and foot. Lunch was simply elegant - the freshest produce I've ever eaten and a cured... read more

We order the Trufa menu and it was scare, poor, plain and not worth the money. The vine options very poor as well and not even a good service from waiters. Very noisy diningroom, we lisyened all the conversations around. I don't think we'll come back here ever again.

Conde Nast Traveler April 2015 review was the inspiration of our pilgrimage to Tudela and a must lunch stop with time, to enjoy the creative Chef's curating skills. It is not very easy to find the location. Elena Pérez, owner chef's wife welcomed us warmly. We were helped in the selection from the menu. We enjoyed everything. My wife ordered... More

We came here as we had heard about how wonderful Tudela is from recent T & L travel article (May 2015) featuring this little gem. It described how the Cordon family (chef owner) harvests fresh produce from their own family huerta and converts into a gastronomic feast.. .. truly farm to table in the purest sense. My wife had the... More

My wife and I were driving from Logrono to Barcelona, and we decided to stop in Tudela to get some lunch. We found Trinquete, and soon realized there were no English menus. The server didn't speak English either, so we just ordered the chef's recommendation. It was amazing! The food was so delicious, and so fresh. It was one of... More

It's all about food... From the land to the plate ... Amazing local ingredients made with passion and love. The cook is somebody difficult to find in the industry: not interested in making money but in offering the best quality meal. Very impressive menu always in tune with the season. Highly recommended!!!

We had the truffle menu. It was great, presentation and taste. I do not eat meat so they change the meat plate for a vegetable/egg one easily. Maybe dessert was not the best, but good. Excellent wines and variety of bread (green olives, black olives, baguette, sesame, wallnuts and raisins...). Good coffe or tea. They have their own vegetable garden... More

Elena is the kind owner, she waits the tables and bakes herself the most amazing desserts ever. Flavors are traditional and intense, the service is superb and the main dishes are mind blowing! Don't forget to try the Carrilleras!

We had a vegetables menu blinded!! so, we closed our eyes before beginning to eat and we had to guess what it was. The quality was excellent but the cooker had collected the vegetable that afternoon in their own space... He and his wife were also very sympathetic and we had an excellent evening... For the blind session, it is... More
