Extremely slow service, by the time we received our food it was cold. The cheese in the nachos wasn't melted and the fries in the poutine were cold. We ordered two appetizers and didn't get served for half hour while being one of three tables. Someone carved the word "HELP" in the table, we should have left after seeing that.... More

Came in with my wife, sat down on the patio. Server lady (the blonde one with piercings) was chatting with her friends on the patio, complaining about her job. WOW No a acknowledgement of our arrival. Sat there for some time, new guest arrived, she came over to her and asked if anyone will be joining her, than went to... More

I had heard a few good things about the Dominion (mostly self-promotion) but had never tried it. We couldn't get in to the Pepper Mill Restaurant (packed!) so we decided this was a good time to try the Dominion. Our first seat ended up being directly beside a band who were on break and when they came back we were... More

We went for a family lunch. The service was friendly and very accomodating. The food was freshly made and great for pub food. We ate in the bar area but there is a nicer dining room off to the side of the bar. It was a monday after a busy weekend so they were out of some of their homemade... More

Went to Dominion with family on way to Haliburton. Restaurant has patio furniture which wasn't the most comfortable. The hot dogs are huge but I found them a bit tough. They said the onion rings were awesome but I found mine very overcooked. Patio is nice but for some reason they put all the smokers right beside the large garabe... More

I've eaten at the Dominion several times and the menu rarely changes. The burgers are good but expensive. And who wants foot-long hot dogs? The stir fry was awful and seemed to be microwaved because it toughened up and cooled down very quickly.

Great food, Accommodating and friendly wait staff, great location. I had one of their burgers - the "Ex Girlfriend" and agree with Cottage Life Magazine that it is one of the best places to get a burger in cottage country. Obviously this is the place to be in the whole county. My wife and I had a lot of fun.

We just wanted something quick to eat and their special fit the bill! Crunchy chicken wrap. It was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
