Our favourite place on the strip. Sit outside with your feet in the sand and relax while your meal is freshly cooked, what's the rush? Seriously good food from Cathy, served by Roland, together with their staff, an enjoyable experience.

Like most places on the island, you will be waiting at least 45 minutes from the time you order to receive your meal. But the food here is some of the best on the island, and the best pork and chicken I have eaten anywhere, ever! The rum punch is delicious too, and made very strong. Very good prices, too.

We ate at Cathy's based on a recommendation from our hotel and we loved it. Very casual but charming place. Service was slow because they were busy, but you need to be on "island time" wherever you go here (and we got to meet some fellow friendly travelers). We ate the BBQ chicken, ribs, and snapper - all of the... More

Right on the beach, Picnic tables with a palm tree going up through the roof. This is real authentic food. Service is slow but always great jerk chicken and ribs. Love it.

We just had a fantastic meal at Cathy's. Don't go expecting white table cloths or singing waiters but if you want wonderful food on the beach, do not miss this local wonder. Be sure to have a rum punch too.

If you are looking for authentic food on the island, this is the place to go. We had fish, jerk pork, and a multitude of sides. When ordering we asked our server what came with the meal and she said, "a lot". She was definitely correct. The meal was served with a small salad, rice and beans, an assortment of... More

I am not a picky person but I had to leave Cathy's. We had heard the food was good so we tried to go there. There was no more seating at the picnic tables outside and it was SO smoky inside from the kitchen I couldn't stand it and I couldn't stay. The menu was very small anyway.

Right down the strip from Shiggity Shack. Low prices, great rum, punches and a friendly staff. Local food is very good. One negative menu is quite small and when we went half of it was unavailable. But if you want to experience what St Kitts is about this is the place

We were directed to Cathy's by our taxi driver after finding out the restaurant we planned to go to was closed tonight. The day before, we had walked along the beach where Cathy's and some other shacks/restaurants were located, and honestly we were turned off by the smell in the area and the disheveled shape all the shacks/restaurants were in.... We dined here during our vacation. Between the two of us we had the BBQ chicken, Ribs and Shrimp. Our meals were fantastic. First sat outside but it began to rain. So we moved to seats that looked out onto the beach but under the cover of the roof. Yes, we will agree with other reviews that the service is... More
