We stumbled upon this restaurant looking for a decent lunch place on our drive back to Barcelona. It is located near the yachting port at the end of the boulevard (avenida) on the ground floor of a modern building. The restaurant itself also has a modern interior and in a somewhat stretched rectangular shape across multiple rooms. Service is both... More

The food was good, but it takes about 30minutes between each dish. Two and a half hours to complete a lunch.

Even in the low season time this is a special experience. A friendly host, good quality food and a lot of attention to the taste gives you the experience you want. This restaurant is worth a detour, you may go there from 50 km far to enjoy this cooking.

We found the food excellent and the two "amuse bouches" were a lovely touch. The staff were exceptional in their care of us and had excellent English which was something of a contrast to our halting Spanish. The restaurant was beautifully set out. All in all we had a wonderful evening and will haste ourselves back before too long.

En route from Barcelona to Valencia Tripadvisor pointed us to this restaurant: definitely worth the little detour! We had a very nice salad with artichokes, strawberries and wild mushrooms to share and as a main we chose the sole (mine a la meuniere and my girlfriend's from the oven). Great pick! Big portions at small-town prices. Moreover we were treated... More

To celebrate the Artichoke Festival we went to Pau restaurant in Benicarlo for their celebration meal. Seven courses of delicious food, well presented, very good wine and excellent service in very attractive surroundings. If you love artichokes then go there during the festivities in January and February, you won´t be disappointed and if you don´t like them well you´re missing... More

We visited this restaurant out of season at the very end of October when it is only open Wednesday to Sunday. Talking to people in the area we were given the impression that this restaurant was top class - and we weren't disappointed! It is decorated in a modern minimalist fashion with very helpful staff serving. Menu del dia is... More

This was rated #1 in Benicarlo, and it deserves it ( though Restaurant Chuanet pushed it closely). It wasn't very busy for a Saturday night, though we did arrive when it opened at 9pm.... We had the seafood tasting menu - squid, mussels, razor clams, sea snails(!), clams - and that was just the starters! All beautifully presented, hot, tasty,... More
