Only five minutes in a taxi from Puerto de la Duquesa, this a true traditional Spanish restaurant. Generous starters followed by a choice of main dishes....so difficult to choose between the slow roast lamb, suckling pig or baked salt fish. The wines were great and actually Spanish waiters....thoroughly recommended!!!

I visited this restaurant twice in my 2 week stay. The food was delicious with generous portions always served promptly with excellent service. The atmosphere is warm and lively with a mix of locals and non-locals. The whole experience was unforgettable. For sure I will return when I'm back and can recommend with full marks.

Traditional Spanish food as good as you will get. Been coming here for 10 years and never had a bad meal. Huge portions at a sensible price with a good wine list. Always the same as are the waiters - they have all been there for as long as we have been going. Tends to get busy later on in... More

We first discovered this restaurant several years ago when our car broke down in front. We come back every year to eat their delicious food. The restaurant decor is dark and what I consider very Spanish. The waiters have been there for years and service is beyond reproach. My husband and I had dorado baked in salt. It was excellent... Visited on back of recommendation we received from a couple we met in Duquesa. Very unassuming exterior which you could easily miss. That however would be a great shame as food is wonderful. Their speciality suckling pig is magnificent as is their paella. Went back a few times on this visit and was not disappointed.

We went with some new friends that had been before ,,,very unassuming location and just looks like its someones house from the outside...all four of us had different starters and mains ....we tried each others meals and all of us were immensely impressed ...the salt baked fish was shocking to see , as they brought it to me for approval... We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a family we met by the pool in our complex - and what a treat it was!! Hardly a tourist in sight and full of Spaniards which is always a good sign. The restaurant was nicely cooled - a great respite from the fierce August heat - and the service was... More

Great little unimposing Restaurant, the food and wine are top quality. Try the chateaubriand or the salt baked fish. Beautiful.

Remembered as the 19th Hole many years ago, inconspicuous roadside restaurant which is bigger and better than it looks from the outside and well worth turning round if you go past it and taking the time to eat there. The menu contains many items which have been long forgotten on this coast - black pudding, sweet breads etc. The pork... More
