Slow Boat but fast food

Tried this place twice. The food is ok but you can be in and out in 30 minutes. You really get the feeling they want the table free ASAP. The lady on the front trying to muscle in new clients says it all. Drinks, starters, mains then bill in half an hour. Not a place to relax.

Will never eat here again, four meals all left, the same in January, so won't be going back, when you walk past it's always empty.

My husband and I have eaten here many times in the last 12 years and always had good food. The staff are friendly and the service good, as is the value. They also provide a takeaway service.

Not very special but staff were friendly. My starter was wet but burnt, my main was passable. Great setting on the marina side.

We have visited several times over the past couple of years. This was very disappointing the food was far from tasty, rather bland, will think twice to the future

Wide enough menu choices, excellent owner..John is fantastic, always happy to see us and the personal care and attention/customer service is second to none. This is choice for Chinese guys.

Poor quality food, bland flavours & too much MSG! If you feel the need for a Chinese this place is not it. Enough said.

This place despite serving some ok food at an ok price is not going to get a return visit from us. It was virtually impossible to relax with all the noise and chaos generated by the elderly lady trying to get customers into the restaurant and the really chaotic service staff. The atmosphere was just not for us, and the... More

By far the best Chinese in the area. John and his crew always welcome you with a smile and are happy to amend menus if you wish. Food is always hot, fresh, tasty and well served. Cannot be faulted and its right on the front for people watching. Highly recommended

Have eaten here a few times. The staff are excellent and friendly, service is swift, but the food quality is just Ok. I think there's a better Chinese in the port just opposite this one (beside the C Bar) but the Slow Boat seems to get the vast majority of tourist traffic.
