Perfect Place for Couples

Lovely restaurant with large terrace overlooking the coast. we popped in for a drink, and they seemed quite happy for us to sit and have a drink, although when we asked for a wine menu they pointed out they are a restaurant so didn't have one! Maybe that's a spanish/uk thing. if we had been staying in tenerife for longer... More

This place deserves its rating. The food is freshly prepared from a small menu and the seafood chowder needs a big appetite to finish it. The atmosphere is great and the view superb. You will not be fawned over but the service is good. If it is a little breezy as it can be in winter ask for a shawl... More

My son is vegetarian and had a very, very good dish with warm goath cheese on caramelised onions, topped with homemade mojo accompanied by an excellent salad with moutarde dressing. I had a fish of the day with canarian potatoes with 2 mojo homemade sauces and the same salad. Whoww, what an experience. The house wine was good! We go... More

I had been reading reviews on this restaurant and put it on my list of top restaurants to try while in Tenerife and in the vicinity of Puerto de Santiago. After walking through a fairly narrow lane we came to the restaurant and were prompted to sit at a table in the open terrace which looks over the beach and... More

I went there 5 or 6 times during my one month stay and tried almost every dish on the menu (apart from fisherman's pie which has to be pre-ordered). All of them where absolutely delicious. If you only have one chance, try the fish chowder. Yes, it can be a bit slow sometimes, but the result won't disappoint you.

We went to this restaurant for lunch today purely because of the high rating here on tripadvisor - Ok it's a lovely view out to sea as you eat from the terrace and the staff were friendly but the food was totally ordinary, grilled fish (overcooked so quite tough) with a simple salad and boiled spuds, and the dessert offerings... Recommended by Tripadvisor and did not disappoint. The proprietor is a character and not your usual host. Be prepared to wait a while as all the food is cooked fresh. Have a drink, relax and admire the breathtaking views as the sun sets. When the food does arrive you can be rest assured that it was worth the wait.
