Wonderful setting,Wonderful food, Great host!

This restaurant is positioned above the cove at puerto santiago overlooking the local beach and looking out to sea is the island of la Gomera. We ate here 3 times, two were evening meals and once for lunch. I cannot fault this wonderful and friendly restaurant. The food is all cooked fresh so if... read more

firstly,Mir you want a quick meal then this isn't for you. We were in almost 3 hours and enjoyed every minute. Try and get there before sunset then enjoy the atmosphere on the cozy terrace. The manager is very friendly and the food is amazing.

We visited the restaurant twice - once just for a drink and to admire the view and returned for lunch a few days later. The food was excellent - we shared a couple of starters with a portion of canarian potatoes and that was plenty for lunch time. Service is excellent and the food is all freshly cooked. If you... We went here last January & decided to visit again on our return this year. Often when you revisit things don't seem quite the same, not in this instance though - lovely. There were three of us, my daughter & I shared sardines as a starter & then both opted for fish chowder - be warned, unless you have a... More

During a family holiday my husband and I escaped to this wonderful restaurant for dinner for two. This place is not for the fast food brigade as everything is cooked to order and served out on the terrace to the sound of the waves from the bay below. The food was excellent and well worth the wait. I do agree... More

Lovely restaurant with large terrace overlooking the coast. we popped in for a drink, and they seemed quite happy for us to sit and have a drink, although when we asked for a wine menu they pointed out they are a restaurant so didn't have one! Maybe that's a spanish/uk thing. if we had been staying in tenerife for longer... More

This place deserves its rating. The food is freshly prepared from a small menu and the seafood chowder needs a big appetite to finish it. The atmosphere is great and the view superb. You will not be fawned over but the service is good. If it is a little breezy as it can be in winter ask for a shawl... More

My son is vegetarian and had a very, very good dish with warm goath cheese on caramelised onions, topped with homemade mojo accompanied by an excellent salad with moutarde dressing. I had a fish of the day with canarian potatoes with 2 mojo homemade sauces and the same salad. Whoww, what an experience. The house wine was good! We go... More

I had been reading reviews on this restaurant and put it on my list of top restaurants to try while in Tenerife and in the vicinity of Puerto de Santiago. After walking through a fairly narrow lane we came to the restaurant and were prompted to sit at a table in the open terrace which looks over the beach and... More
