The food was amazing large portions, and cooked a little different but so many amazing flavours, we went for Sunday lunch and would definitely go back, the only down side is that the staff are a little too attentive.

Went there for a wedding anniversary meal with my wife. Haven't been there for a couple of years. Glad we did. We could only manage 2 courses as we were both very full. The food we had to eat was excellent for quality, quantity & value. The service was also top class. I run a local B&B and would have... More

My wife and I popped in for Thursday night meal on an off chance. First impression was nice as large back room looked impressive. Then when the decor sank in just appeared odd, but looking forward to our meal. When menu came my wife instantly commented on the odd mixture of English, French, Italian, Greek, American and Indian. Mmmm, wife... More

Probably the classiest restaurant in Llantwit. The place is lovely inside. The choice of wine and bottled beer is very good. The menu always delights and the service is good in my experience. It's also the most expensive in Llantwit but it's worth it in my opinion.

I took my wife for a expected nice summer lunch in a lovely part of Llantwit Major. So saw Illtud 216 and went in unbooked it was virtually empty "on a Saturday in May" which should have warned us. My wife had a vegetarian special main and starter. The starter of vine leaves & salad and main Mediterranean dish with... More

Very friendly and efficient service, good atmosphere. Food good, especially the pork belly which my companions had and raved about - probably from the farm where we were staying! (I chose the curried chicken which was less special.) Excellent rhubarb crumble. Pleasantly surprised to find somewhere of this quality in a small town.

We went there on a Saturday night, not very busy. We had prawn cocktail that said with cashews and king prawns, NO! raw unsalted cashews and the smallest most tasteless watery, just defrosted in water prawns I have ever had. I say had as I didn't eat it, or rather drink it. Then we ordered spiced duck, ummm sounds nice... More
