Wedding Supper

Celebrated my daughters Claire and son in law Pauls wedding here on 18 April 2015. Had a fabulous time. The restaurant was closed for the occasion. Einar dressed the tables and chairs to our specifications and the meal was hot, tasty and plentiful. Big thanks to you all.

As part of a group of four diners I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. The surprisingly spacious restaurant had a great ambience. This was added to by the superb service and report with a very pleasant young waitress. The food was simply excellent. We will definitely visit again.

My wife and myself got married at Nash point lighthouse on the 18th April 2015 and we found this little gem of a restaurant to hold our wedding breakfast/reception for 26 guests. The owners were so accommodating, they closed the restaurant for the evening, they also tailored the menu to our requirements and decorated the whole restaurant with all our... More

If you are not a vegetarian please read my other review about this restaurant. My whole family went out (the 6 of us) for the third time to this restaurant as overall we think it is a very good place to go. This time was no different as the service was very good and the resaurant is also very child... More

My OH and I ate here last approximately 4 years ago and as we are moving to the area decided to eat here again in preparation of hopefully having a nice local restaurant we could make a regular haunt. Unfortunately we won't be returning as the meal was not good at all. The menu is of pub grub - I... More

Visited here for a colleague's leaving lunch and was thoroughly impressed with the food, the service and the surroundings. They offer a 2 course lunch for £10.75 and it was excellent value. For this you can either have starter and main or main and pudding. I went for the Caesar Salad for starter and Fish Cake for my main. Others... More

I arrived at 19.00, 30m early to meet family and family friends. I walked in and was greeted by 3 staff behind the bar. I explained I was early and was told this was not a problem. I was shown to our table, given the menu and the drinks menu. Within 2m I was holding a glass of red (£4.50,... More

We had a lovely meal for my friends special birthday. The waiting staff are very good & service was good to. The portions are quite big, but tasty. There was a couple of faux paux, my husband's sauces for his fish were a little late arriving & my friend ordered chocolate mousse & a chocolate sponge turned up. They were... More

We were hunting around for a restaurant and stumbled upon this one. We found the staff very welcoming and attentive. The food comes in large portions well cooked and good quality. The average main course costs about £13 and there is something for everyone to enjoy on the menu for starters mains and deserts. The tables are large the restaurant... More

Went to this restaurant for a Sunday dinner with 6 friends. The waItresses was very friendly and efficient and they had a smile for all of us. The meal was really nice I had the lamb which was great and we all had yorkshire pudds that were huge. I would definitely go there again. Well worth it.
