Friendly, good paella and plenty of much needed shade!

We stayed in the area for 1 week in Sept 2014 and this was the bar and restaurant directly outside the hotel, the staff were friendly and the food was really good, we ate here 2 or 3 times..there is plenty of shade around and your view is right onto the beach. The drinks are reasonably priced too.

Been here a few times in the last fortnight Food is great and you see from the menu that this is a beach bar and not some upper class eatery The view at sunset is great watching through the palm trees On Friday there was even a live band to listen to We were only going to have a sandwich... More

The perfect location, but the food is terrible. Combined with the medium service we give 5 out 2 stars. Room for improvement!

We stayed in Cala Vadella for two nights before moving on to San Carlos, we were going to eat at the restaurant, but thought the bar had a good vibe so decided to try the tapas menu, each night we watched the sunset and ordered good food. The tapas portions are quite big, so good for sharing, we had 5 different... Bar offers wonderful chilled out vibe and music to match, drinks and Spanish snack menu good value. Great spot on the beach. Adjacent restaurant suggests an upmarket offer but we found the quality of food difficult to justify the price e.g. Starter of 12 clams in white wine costs 25 euros, tasteless, sauce watery, no seasoning, grim. Whole fish dishes... More

Great beachside restaurant. Extensive menu, well presented and tasty food (with prices to match). The paella was especially delish.

Can Jaume is a restaurant on the very front of Calla Vadella beach. It plays good music and offers some large settee type chairs as well as the standard table and chairs for eating. Staff are friendly and helpful and the service is quick even though they are invariably busy. Tapas for lunch can be chosen from the menu but... More

Went there for dinner , with my partner, food over priced , service was poor, food was rushed out to us before we had finished our starters . Paying £20 for a starter £50 for a pyella , which tasted of salt all in all rubbish

You can plan a perfect day at beach, swimming in Cala Vadella and going to Can Jaume. It's close to this beach and they have a big terrace, so you can come with all your family. The children can play when you are asking for lunch. The dishes are huge, hard to finish them, and the price is correct. If... More

Have eaten here many times and the food is good. The paella and grilled chicken are my favourites and the setting is great on he beach at beautiful Cala Vadella. Only complaint this year was the music (although very good) was so incredibly loud you couldn't hear to have a conversation. It's not on every night though. In fact eating... More
