great food with very loud music

I knew the place from Istanbul so I was not suprised with the quality of the food. The protions are big. I mean very big. But the live traditional music was very disturbing. We were a large group in another room (the music and dancing was in the main room) and still it was too loud. Still there... read more

This is one of the best restaurant i have ever visited in my entire life. Especially; Süryani İçliköfte, Kaşık Salata, Kuru Patlıcan Dolma. And they serve Wine with a cupper bottle and a copper cup. At the end of the night they wash your hands with Rose Water :)) This is one of the best i can say. Everybody should... More

We had a wonderful meal here. The meze option is well worth it. The house wine was nice. The food was good, and the head waiter was very entertaining. It's a nice building. We ate up on one of the terraces. Although it was June, and generally hot, it was actually quite windy and cool, even chilly, and they provided... More

It is hard to find room so booking is must. The ambiance and the food presentation and taste is excellent. This was our first time trying Suryani food and even though it looks similar to other Turkish mezes the food tasted completely different. In order to sample the different appetizers the meze platter is a must.

Just came back from my visit to Mardin. We had read so many excellent evaluations about this restaurant , presented as a must to go , so we booked a table and had dinner there. The decoration of the place and the place itself is nice. I can not though say the same about the food and the service. The... More

It was our last night "on the road" before spending some time in Istanbul. It was also my birthday and reservations had been made for a special evening!. First we had a beautiful table by the window and had it not been cloudy we could have seen quite a distance. We shared a delicious Mezze and then I ordered lamb... More

We reserved our table weeks ago thru an agency. Wwnt there on time. It was crowded. No one to greet us at the entrance but we strolled further to find a waiter and ask for our table. They dis not even had our reservation:(. I worked with the agency many times before and for this one, they called me and... More

The food was good, but the menu is designed to share so I wouldn't recommend this place if you're on your own. And as a single woman I was made to feel very conspicuous - esp when I ordered a cup of wine! I know it's not normal that people eat alone in Turkey, let alone female women, but a... More
