Great Food

Decided to try a take away from Shimla after disappointments elsewhere. When for a lamb buna, a vindaloo (mixed or special) naan and rice. The food was brilliant, not too salty, very flavourful and we both enjoyed the meal a lot. Only minor gripes, a bit pricey (but guess you get what you pay... read more

Went on a Sunday evening for daughters birthday. Was busy but got seated straight away. There were 4 of us and we all ordered starters and mains. We ordered a vegetarian mix starter for two and what a disappointment. Was clearly re-heated and was therefore of a soggy texture. In fact we left the veg pakoras as they were so... More

Went without a reservation & this was no problem. Busy but not too full so we were swiftly shown to a table. The food was delicious & I highly recommend the liver starter. Plenty of high quality & tasty food. We will definitely be going again

Staff, service and surroundings marvellous! The standard and quality of the food can have an even better rating! This restaurant is consistently a very high standard. Nothing more to add!

While on business i went to this restaurant, great staff and one of the best curries I have ever had, I would recommend the lamb tikka masala. Only soft drinks but that didn't stop us from going back the next night.

We live e quite close to Shimla, but have tried many different Indian restaurants around Bradford, as there are so many. Shimla is the only one we keep going back to. It's consistently good, very reasonable and its good to be able to take your own wine/beer.

When I completed a University subject on British colonisation I learnt that there were three million British graves in India, hence a fascination by the British for Indian food. It is not as popular definitely in Australia and I believe I have not had the exposure to as much Indian food as probably the average British person has, so to... More

I didn't even know this place was here but now I've found it, I will definitely be back. You can take your own alcohol which makes the night feel a lot cheaper and the dishes are all reasonably priced. We came for a company event, so there were lots of us which meant we could all try lots of different... More

The food is really fresh and tasty. We ordered the masala fish which was particularly delicious. The chicken shawarma is also very good. We ordered the mixed grill which took about half an hour to arrive but we warned about this on the menu and from the waiter. It wasn't anything special. The staff are friendly. It's good value for...
