I've visited the Boathouse quite a few times, for both lunch and dinner. I always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The bar/restaurant it is a beautiful location by the riverside. It gets very busy in the summer time and is a great place to go for a drink with friends in Saltaire.

Ok for a quick meal, but not on a weekend when its full of yuppies We went early on a Tuesday evening so getting in was not a problem. Beer and food a bit pricey but quality was okay. Superb location on the river opposite Roberts Park, but you need daylight to appreciate it

Great bar and restaurant in-between the river and canal, revamped menu not bad and prices are reasonable. Food is good though drinks are a little expensive. Overall we enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.

A lovely setting without outdoor space to sit and look out over the river to the parkland and cricket field. A perfect site for lunch on a warm, sunny day. Added bonus is its proximity to all the attractions of Saltaire village. Food is not bad and the ales good.

I called in here on a Friday night, missed the food but read the menu and thought it was overpriced. The boathouse is in a lovely spot overlooking the river and by the canal, with outside seating. Not much use on a dark Friday night, however. Decor is anonymous, clientèle lads and laddettes, 'Real Ales' are served, after a fashion.... More

We arrived at this place today and were told to leave our name and come back in 30 minutes and our table would be ready. My children (6,5&3 months) then had to walk round the park hungry only to be told when we returned that they couldn't eat as our table had been given to another party as they thought... More

Called for a quick lunch. Lovely sandwiches with chips and cold slaw. Staff were very pleasant and it was quick service. The only negative as far as we were concerned was the canned music was rather loud. Would certainly visit again.

Great pub restaurant in a lovely spot by the river. 6 of us went for drinks and food but food let down by miserable staff waiting on. A smile costs nothing. Tasty homemade curry and great deal on fish and chips. If staff perked up the place would be better

We visited Saltaire a couple of weeks ago and had lunch in Boathouse Inn. The pub is next to the river and gives good views as the side that overlooks the river is all glass. You also get the chance to sit outside and enjoy your drinks while looking at the river and grounds. The interior is nice but nothing... More

We have been here 3x in the last 6 weeks and have had lovely meals each time (2x with my 3 children aged 18, 20, 23 and 1x just me & hubby). We like to sit near the window as there is a lovely view of the River Aire and Roberts park. They do a great deal if there is... More
