Been here a couple of times for a full breakfast, good quality, nicely priced and good setting, relaxing and didn't feel rushed.

Breakfast at Hemsworths has become something of a ritual for us, walk the dogs on Shipley Glen followed by the best scrambled egg on toast ever! We cannot fault this place, god knows what the last reviewer was talking about because it bears no resemblance to the Hemsworths that we know, keep up the good work!

Hemworth's is one of the few places I have visited in the area that serves excellent home-cooked food. The menu is very good, with prices to suit all budgets, the portions are generous and the staff are always friendly, hard-working and helpful.

This cafe is a little gem! The food is brilliant and the cafe is kept clean at all times. Wish they were open on a Sunday for breakfast and could maybe use a better quality sausage but they are minor gripes compared to how good this place is. If you haven't been yet, go!

I work in Shipley and myself and my colleagues visit Hemsworths almost every day to take food out. The service is always amazing (they even bring food to you if you are local and ask nicely!!) by he service is friendly, the place is absolutely spotless, and the care that goes into the preparation of the food is second to... Our party of 10 was made welcome and tables immediately extended for us. Everyone enjoyed what they had and the orders all arrived at the same time. Can't fault that, my only down-side was they use bought in sliced beef and warm it up in gravy for your hot beef sandwich, or that's what it seemed like to me. We... More

Lunchtime get together with group of friends, friendly welcome & prompt service. Not the most salubrious location but decor inside was bright, modern & spacious. All our party enjoyed their food, my jacket potato was served piping hot with a fresh appetising salad, best jacket spud for many a day (in cafe)! Also tea was served in a teapot rather... More

Hemsworths - Visited 9.30am 13/02/2013. Warm welcome and great breakfast. About ten minutes wait for freshly cooked full english seemed fair to me. Posted a pic it looked so good. Couple of points off for slightly grubby glass and cutlery which needed a wipe with the napkin. Personally I’d like a bit of background music but I’m sure there are... More

We were met by Christine, the front of house, who has just moved here after over 10 years at the Devonshire Arms, Bolton Abbey. Our orders were taken and brought to our table very quickly, even though the cafe was busy. Christine took time to make sure that everything was as we wanted. The coffee was lovely, hot and strong... Visited Hemsworth's after seeing other reviews. The place is as good as has been previously reported. We had full English breakfasts which were cooked and presented with all the care and attention as if it were an expensive meal in a top restaurant. Decent helpings all cooked to perfection and served on lovely large white plates. The place has a... More
