After reading reviews for interlude I honestly thought that it would be much better than it was...Won't be returning any time soon. Nothing tasted fresh, which I am surprised about as kost people I've spoken to seemed to enjoy it!

I am a regular customer and have always enjoyed the great food and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. My husband is a big fan of the Ploughman's (as well as the veggie chilli and other things) and when we lunch anywhere else it is never surpassed. Have introduced many friends and family to Interlude and all have been glad to return on... More

What a lovely tea-room! Gorgeous sandwiches and home made cakes washed down with lashings of earl grey. I highly recommend a visit

I visited the interlude cafe for my daughters birthday treat. The overall experience was at a very poor standard leaving everyone disappointed and Hungary. We had McDonald's aftafterwards. The first problem was the Attitude of the staff. A younger male, spoke to me in the most abrupt manor, which therefor made me feel unwelcome and reluctant to pay for the... More

The lower ground floor dining area is set out in an old fashioned style and I've been here for lunch three or four times now and still want to come back for more. The food choice for a vegetarian is limited but is always tasty and well presented. The waitresses are lovely people who offer 'olde' English charm and service... More

Have been several times to the Interlude, and taken several family and friends just because it is so charmingly different...not to mention the gorgeous cakes! Always a good choice for a pleasant visit and good food in a charming environment.

I often visit interlude for a treat, the cakes, scones, scrambled eggs are good poritions, it does cost a tad extra but worth it, the experience includes old postcards, 1930's pottery clohing and books.
