Good sized portions - well cooked

We'd actually come out to eat at a local Italian Restaurant - but found it dark and closed - we passed the Cellar, by accident - thought it looked inviting and thought "why not"? So we turned up un booked at the door and they made us welcome. Fair range on the menu and the food we ordered was... read more

Always enjoy the food here at the cellar. Top quality meals and fabulous staff. Disappointed with the physic though. Great ideal of a meal and entertainment package.

The food is delicious with excellent service. Nice place with music and things on. Able to have coffee and drinks after the meal by the bar bit.

Bar prices are disgusting! £6 for two diet cokes poured out of a bottle in front of you? And the reception from the bar staff 'I don't make the prices' & laughed! Sunday menu price £14.45, we got fatty gammon & over cooked salmon. Plus a 'silver service' waiter that kept dropping the food on the table.

When we arrived we were shown the specials board and taken through to our table. The whole... More

Great place for a Sunday get together with the family. Lovely old building. Very helpful staff. And a menu that was terrific value. Three courses for around fifteen pounds.
