We ate dinner at the restaurant. Service ok but not exact, the waitress spoke only basic English. Food is good but not exceptional. Sitting on the porch dense plastic chairs and a table, do not respect the diners. Fair price for a moderate consideration.

We are from the United States and were staying at a resort in Mougins, les Alpes-Maritime. In our search for truffles, a friend told us about the town of Aups and the Restaurant l'Aiguiere, which was a drive of about 1 - 1.5 hours through some beatiful countryside. We had hoped to arrive in Aups in time to shop at... More

Lunch at L'Aiguiere has become my special treat each visit to Aups. The superior food, excellent service and warmth of the owners/chef makes this a memorable and comfortable eating experience. Look for the duck and outstanding inventive salads. Looking forward to the next visit. After a meal at L’Aiguiere I am reminded of the pleasures of valuing quality of food... More

Small restaurant with local french dishes. Great kitchen and some nice local wines. The boeuf rossini and brouillere with truffles and foie gras are fantastic.

We visited L'Aiguiere for lunch on a quiet May afternoon and were immediately greeted by the owners. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was amazing! So much so, that we decided to come back for dinner that same night. Once there, we were treated like old friends and had equally tantalising food! Certainly worth a visit when... More

Aups. During the last weeks we had lunch/dinner again at L’Aiguière (Hervé & Nathalie) with good friends. We ordered on special request and tried the Paella, Bourride and Fruits the Mer on different days, all three dishes were of a very good quality and good standard. The Paella and Bourride could easily compete with the same dishes in the big... More
