Great spot in a cute town!

We were doing a mini road trip in the Gorges de Verdon and came upon this town just as we were getting hungry! Menu has a great selection. Lets of truffle based dishes. Pasta was excellent. Service was attentive. 24 seats. We were lucky because the first place we walked into down the street were... read more

Great food, but fairly meagre portions and quite pricy (however no more so than any other restaurant in the area!)

We stopped here for lunch and weren't disappointed, the food was great and the service excellent, our French isn't to good but the owner took the time to explain the bits we were unsure about, and the deserts were superb as well, would defiantly go back when next in the area.

Nice spot in quiet side street.I did not have a problem with the waitress speaking French and having little English, but I did think that she could have spoken a little slower for us as we were trying to converse and order in French. Starter of Assiette crudités with pistou and anchioade was huge for €10 and was too much.The... More

I can't remember gong back to the same restaurant twice on holiday; too much to see, too much to do. L'Aiguiere however was different. Always worth a walk just back from. The main streets and the initial impression was good. Husband and wife team, elegant place and the set menu was the best we can recall eating outside of a... More

Sorry to decrease a little the average but 5 is just for "breathtaking" experiences. But very good is a honest evaluation. The service is friendly and if somebody complaints about the poor English of the waitress should forget to travel in France where an answer in English, by itself is an event. Coming back to more substancial elements: Charlotte is... More

On a very hot Sunday lunchtime in August, we booked a table here and we have to agree with all the excellent reviews. Three beautifully presented courses that were absolutely delicious; a goats cheese feuillete, veal roulade, asparagus raviolis, chocolate fondant and a citron sable all went down very well on the 25 euro 3 course menu. Steep stairs to... More

We ate dinner at the restaurant. Service ok but not exact, the waitress spoke only basic English. Food is good but not exceptional. Sitting on the porch dense plastic chairs and a table, do not respect the diners. Fair price for a moderate consideration.

We are from the United States and were staying at a resort in Mougins, les Alpes-Maritime. In our search for truffles, a friend told us about the town of Aups and the Restaurant l'Aiguiere, which was a drive of about 1 - 1.5 hours through some beatiful countryside. We had hoped to arrive in Aups in time to shop at... More
