Once again we visited the aforementioned restaurant, this time it was for my wife's 40th birthday. This was a family event with 4 children, 2 of whom were under 5yrs of age. The staff again were very attentive, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere great. We were there for nearly 4 hours and I dare say the staff were... More

We had a lovely lunch here and were lucky to get a table overlooking the Loch. Good menu with varied choice and food was good. Service was a tad slow but we weren't in a rush. It's all about the setting and definitely worth trying

We were in Scotland for a few weeks and drove by this restaurant, which looked good. Food was quick to come to the table, although we had to ask a couple of times for a glass of water, other drinks came quickly, and waiter was quick to respond to my empty glass. My grandma ordered fish cakes which she loved,... More

My second visit because the first was a pleasant experience. However this time it was noisy - music far too loud and service slow. An order for sandwiches and bowls of chips shouldn't be too difficult but the chips came out five minutes after the sandwiches. The location is pleasant - just a pity the staff were not more on... My wife and I decided to be rebels and drive out towards Lanark in an effort to find somewhere different to have lunch. We headed out by New Lanark and happened upon the Inn on the Loch. On the lower level is a cafe bar with a large decking area overlooking the loch. There is adequate parking on site and... More

Stopped here for a bite to eat, there is a cafe bar on the ground level that sells, panini's, baked Potatoes ect. Upstairs there is a beautiful pub restaurant, when we went in it was almost empty, asked for a table, staff checked to see if we had booked when we said that we hadn't the checked the computer and... Been coming here now for the best part of 5 years with my partner and her family who are from Lanark, having been to many local bistro style resturants in my local area and been disappointed I was apprehensive however this was to be short lived. After trying loads on the menu I struggle to find fault with excellent value,... More
