Went to the Moody Goose after reading the wonderful reviews here and were not disappointed. Everything was top notch and we could not fault a thing. Fab food, great service, nice surroundings what more could you ask.

Good food, good atmosphere, a little cramped but that adds to the charm, parking difficult but a good experience.

The Moody Goose at The Old Priory Hotel, Midsomer Norton is a fabulous restaurant in a building dating back to about 1127. My wife and I had a wonderful evening: staff were friendly and helpful, the chef demonstrated a real passion for the food, which was imaginatively delivered. We would happily recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

This has always been my favourite local restaurant. We go here regularly. We took our best men and bridesmaids the evening before our wedding. Booked a table for Valentine's Day. Called my husband to make arrangements. They just called me back an hour later to say that they "just realised that they didn't have a table free as the last... More

Agree with HAEMS review - the food is utterly delicious. Had a three course lunch here with two friends and found the meal a complete work of art both to the palate and to the eye. Each of the dishes was beautifully presented and literally each mouthful made me stop and think "Goodness, this is so special". A rainbow of... More

We celebrated a 70th birthday party there, 18 people, children and adults. Food was superb, and the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend it.
