Wonderful food and great service set this place apart from the rest. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in Porthcawl!

I always go to Beales for my chippy! My family live in Bridgend Centre and yet we still go out of our way to Porthcawl because no other chip shop compares to Beales. Spot on as always and we will be back again probably next week!

Only had a take away from here whilst away with family but had a great tasty cod and chips. Didn't look too appetising to eat in but there were a few seats to do so. The cod was the highlight, good size piece, not watery inside which is where a lot of places go wrong. Crispy batter and wasn't too... More

Had a take away. Lovely chips, sausage and gravy. Not the ritz but as far as chip shops go....one of the best, clean, tasty, just what you want...except 85p for a can of coke is a little bit expensive!

Great service, efficient staff and the tastiest haddock and chips, (with mushy peas of course) that I've had for a long time. Visited this place regularly in the last 15 years. Never had a bad experience there. Well done everyone.

Whenever we go to Porthcawl we have fish & chip. We usually go to the one on station hill but decided to try Beales after a not so good last visit to station hill. Thank goodness we did. 9.15pm on a Friday, took about 2 minutes to be served and fish cooked to order. It was the best fish &... More

Beach day out, average fish and chips. Batter a bit soggy, chips nicely cooked. Would go again, but nothing to rave about. Staff could try smiling, customer service needs to up their game

This is not the cheapest fish and chips, the pot of tea I had to accompany was expensive and small. The fish and chips was a decent size portion and certainly freshly cooked, very hot! The service was prompt and professional. Overall a quality meal if a little expensive.
