First visited in guess 1995 since then had many visits in the next five years until my wife passed away, guess my last visit was in 2000, had the pier house on face book and followed the posts they shared, and this month I went back to visit on the winner deal two nights DBB with the third night BB... Have just returned from a one night stay at the Pierhouse. Lovely room with loch view, exactly as advertised and excellent value for money for B&B. Table with a view for cooked breakfast on a bright November morning was icing on cake. Enjoyed pre-dinner drinks by the fire after watching the sun set over Lismore. The scallops were lovely, the... Recently spent a week in this beautiful area, and discovered the Pierhouse one sunny lunchtime. The small patio was a great place to eat and enjoy the views. We found the staff very pleasant and efficient. While we only had a light meal, the food quality was very good and nicely presented. When we visit the area again, Pierhouse will... More

I stopped at the Pierhouse on Friday lunchtime with some of our local friends for lunch from the bar menu, the View, the service and the food where all excellent, with generous portions of the food arriving at our table minutes after we had ordered. Many congratulations to Nick and Nikki and their team for keeping up the excellent reputation... More

Many thanks for your extremely nice comments about the views, food and service which are greatly appreciated. We pride ourselves on the quality of a 'Pierhouse Experience' but it is the staff who make a hotel. We are extremely fortunate to have retained many of our core local staff who have been with us between 5 and 8 years now... More

The venue, menu, service and food are very good although the prices are a bit too "high end". Nevertheless if you want to splash out this is the place to go. Its at the end of a single track road and looks out across Loch Linnhe and the short distance to Lismore Island.

Lovely setting in dining room and staff welcoming. Some of the waitresses could be a bit more knowledgeable / suggesting on say "catch of the day" Food generally good, albeit maybe lighter batter on the fish and chips and a bit less cream with the mussels. Seafood platter and Pan Fired Sea Bass best choices. Wine list good and reasonable... More

Thank you for your review and your feedback which is appreciated. I have noted your comments which are obviously purely your own personal observations and choices and I am very pleased you enjoyed our Seafood Platter and Seabass dishes. Regarding Edinburgh Gin I am sure you can buy it a reasonable price at home in Edinburgh, however for us it... More
