We decided to treat ourselves and go toa very good restaurant: there couldn't have been a better choice than La Randa! The food was very good, especially price-quality value-wise. The waitress was nice and funny and the atmosphere very romantic, recommended.

We had an excellent meal here. The atmosphere is lovely and for once the background music was actually a good background--soft jazz, not bad American pop or hip hop. Our waitress was attentive and from my seat I could see through the arched opening into the kitchen to watch the chef. I ordered my favorite anchovies, marinated in vinegar, which... More

La Randa is situated on the first floor with a large shaded balcony overlooking the main street. Good selection of fish and pasta dishes all freshly prepared. Friendly attentive staff.

Excellent friendly restaurant, right on the main street of Cannigione, north west Sardinia, very near the famous Costa Smerelda and Porto Cervo. Alfonso "Fofo" prepares outstanding meals using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. The fresh Rockfish we enjoyed for our main course was outstanding, cooked simply and beautifully! Equally good were the mussels and fresh anchovy starters. "Fofo" makes a... More

The first evening we went we had lovely food.A seafood pasta and some fresh ravioli. We decided to go back my daughters pasta was raw and came with a greasy sauce.I ordered the seafood again and this was under cooked and the fish was rubbery.

We ate here on six occasions during our 12 day stay. By far the best restaurant in Cannigione. The food is absolutely fantastic, reasonably priced, & never once did we have a bad meal. Compliments to chef, & to the waiting staff who made our visits even more welcoming. The local house white wine is also a gem, which is... More

I am surprised to read all the good reviews of this restaurant, as our experience was very different. The place should have been excellent: an interesting menu outside, reasonable prices (for Italy!) and an initially warm welcome from the 2 waitresses. Unfortunately it all went downhill from then on. Firstly, one of them brought assorted fresh fish to our table... More

We had the gnocchi with italian sausage to start, not the light little pillows I was expecting, hard and heavy. We shared the seafood mixed grill as our main - again, it missed, everything was just overcooked. The restaurant was extremely busy on the night we visited so perhaps they were under pressure and not up to their usual standard... More

Service was very good; lovely outdoor space. Spent my time thinking about what I'd do with the place if it were mine. The food was fine - a little too steeped in olive oil (though I do come to Italy to roll in the stuff!) It was acceptable and perhaps I'd been spoilt by the standard of food elsewhere.

This restaurant is excellent. A great menu, great staff and service and the food itself was first class. Really good value too with 1/2 litre of house red wine for €6 and it was very good wine. Although we didn't spend a fortune we were still offered complimentary glasses of Sardinian liqueur called Mirto. Highly recommended
