Lived up to all the positive reviews, and not that expensive for the quality of the meal and ambiance. Smallish menu. Service rather too quick for an upmarket dining experience on the first night we visited, but more relaxed on the second night (they were not that busy when we visited) Food top notch. more

My wife and I joined our two adult children for a Christmas Eve dinner that we'll never forget. The experience started by going to Marigot Bay, which is a beautiful bay known for its exceptional beauty and charm. Once we arrived at Marigot Bay, we took a short ferry boat ride to the Rainforest Hideaway. The staff were very welcoming... more

If you despair of finding something really delicious to eat in St Lucia, don't despair. This is a really excellent place in all respects. About a dozen people from the hotel where we were staying also tried it and everyone was knocked out. Not the cheapest at ECD 160 for 3 courses but worth every penny. more

While staying at Discovery Marigot Bay, we found out about this little restaurant across the bay on Trip Advisor. We called and made reservations, and the water shuttle met us at the end of the dock. It's only about a 45 second ride across the bay and you are warmly greeted by the staff. Upon arriving you are seated in... more

Chances are that if you're in St. Lucia for a vacation, you're not there on a shoestring budget. Even if you are, earmark some money in your trip for a night at the Rainforest Hideaway – preferably on your last night. The food is 5-star, the service is on-par with the food, and the ambiance, as others have already described, is... more

Being from NY, we are really quite spoiled when it comes to food, but this restaurant didn't disappoint. This was by far the best meal that we had during our week long stay in St. Lucia. We loved the fact that you have to take a little boat across the bay to get there (it's price is included as part... more

This restaurant is amazing. We went early to sit at the bar and had many Rainforest Punches. The restaurant overlooks the bay and you need to take a water taxi over. Try the Scallop suffle appetizer and mango cream red snapper. more

During our stay at Discovery Hotel opposite, we took the free ferry across on two occasions to have dinner at the Rainforest. It is nicely formal without being stuffy. The menu of two courses for EC $ 150 was good value, especially as there were taster mini-dishes between the courses. We took the Chilean white wine which we enjoyed too.... more

We had already made our reservations for dinner when Paula Deene did a TV feature on dining at Rainforest Hideaway. She raved, and it was categorized as the only 5 star restaurant on St. Lucia. Our meal was very good, as was the service, and so too the view of Marigot Bay, but I'd not categorize it as the best... more
