A beautiful restaurant (décor, place settings,..) in a unique setting. Taking the water taxi over adds to the experience (and is painless). The rating is based on the cost of the meal. For very close to $200 US, for two, I expect an exceptional experience. My drink was wrong twice (rum on the rocks was ordered, rum and coke was... More

I liked the sophisticated cuisine. It was fine dining at it's best and the equivalent to any top restaurant in London. I didn't like the price, it cost an arm and a leg. Better to save this treat until the end of your holiday.

Take a short little ferry ride to a beautiful spot that is hidden in the mangroves. Jazz accompanied a creative and memorable meal.

We have been to this wonderful place a number of times over the last few years and it never fails to impress. The food is inventive, top notch and full of local ingredients. The staff are attentive, charming and knowledgable. You pay for the quality but will not be disappointed. And the atmosphere is very special....

There's nothing like the Rainforest Hideaway that I've ever seen. Nestled in the mangroves of Marigot Bay in a nice quiet spot, sits the dock on which lays the restaurant. You get there by a little ferry, and have cocktails on the dock before moving to the dining area. The dock forms a little rectangle where in the middle you... More

Dear LittleKing7 Many thanks for the review of your experience at Rainforest. It is so very pleasing when guests enjoy Rainforest so much and recognise that we cannot deliver the experience we strive for at budget prices. Our objectives are to provide value for money and also to provide the experience that justifies people making that extra effort to get... More

Dear Caroline K Many thanks for your very positive review of Rainforest. We have just implemented some major menu changes for the coming High Season - and added a new array of deserts this week which I think you could certainly describe as "palate paradise". Come back and try the Cashew Croquant Cheese Cake....or the Passion Fruit Panacotta with Guava... More

The rainforest hideaway is a lovely romantic getaway that's worth stopping by while you're in the marigot Bay Area. The food is incredibly pricey, considering where you are, however it's worth stopping by for a drink on one of the nights they have live music. Don't forget to wear lots of bug spray! It is called the rainforest hideaway for... More

Dear Candace241 Its not clear from your review whether you ate dinner at Rainforest or just enjoyed the ambiance of the bar and the live music. I suspect the latter. We are certainly not cheap - but to describe us as "incredibly pricey, considering where you are" raises the common misconception that because we are a lesser developed country we... More

Best meal we had on our trip to St Lucia by far. Excellent presentation and flavours. Great ambiance. We would go back for sure if ever in Marigot bay. The night boat ride over makes it all the more special.

Food was terrific and lives up to its reviews. Had a great ambience and I would highly recommend. Some friends were visiting St Lucia later on, I wanted to shout them dinner there so the Rainforest Hideaway made up a gift voucher for them and delivered it to their room which was a lovely touch

Located in the mangroves and accessed by water taxi this is a very special place. Whilst pricey the food was delicious , the live jaz just great (check for music when booking) and service and ambience perfect. We loved the illuminated seabed and watchinall the fish. Also a great place for a drink if not wanting to go the whole... More

Dear 30WA Thank you for taking the trouble to write such a positive review of Rainforest.
