Once ferried over to this little island, we were weary from traveling and ate dinner at Doolittles. The dinner was mixed. Roasted pumpkin soup while plentiful lacked any hint of pumkin and had no flavor whatsoever. Also sampled was the tomato, eggplant and goat cheese brushetta. This was fresh and flavorful. Dinners were Doolittle's Jerk salmon. Salmon was cooked well... More

We were staying at oasis marigot for our third visit during the football final went every night for happy hour (5-7) We always found Dave the owner and his great guard dog very friendly and great humour also, very generous especially Football final week every table was suppled free of charge popcorn and monkey nuts. We ate there on our first... More

Has a good happy hour and good food. I saw the fish stew on the menu knew that was what I was going to have. It was fabulous Two at our table had the steak special and said it was average. Another friend had the Mahi Mahi and said it was the best he'd had. The service was great. Btw... More

We visited Doolittle's several times during our recent 10-day stay at Oasis Marigot, having at least one breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and several evenings of drinks. The menu did not "wow" us--it's fairly standard fare for St. Lucia and not particularly inventive, but in all cases, we found the food and drink to be of good quality and satisfying. In... More

We ate at Doolittle's last night, with high hopes as the restaurant is in a beautiful location and the menu has many dishes which sound delicious. It was interesting to meet the owner David before our food arrived, and he seemed a nice chap too. However, the food was very disappointing and the service left a lot to be desired,... More

Beautiful view of the bay. The restaurant has a great lounge with pool tables and a family atmosphere. I was hesitant to go to Doolittle's because of some of the reviews I read. As far as prices, it really isn't that bad and you are on an island so things tend to be more expensive. We ate at Doolittle's 7... More

Enjoyed this spot. They gladly accommodated our son's guide dog, Nonnie, who enjoyed meeting the owner's easy going Labrador retriever, Pepsi. Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere in an idyllic location. The food was good as was the service. I recognize that some folks have made comments about the speed of the service. If u like being rushed through a meal so they... More

Loved taking the little boat across to the restaurant and location was great for keeping kids entertained (they loved the crabs on the beach!). Beers were 2 for 1 which was great and food was good. While we just ordered burgers and pizza, it was actually our most expensive meal while on the island...which is just funny seeing as how... More

Good food; just a little pricey for lunch. Great service since we were the only ones there. About $198 EC ($74 US) for the 2 of us with drinks.

As we were staying at Marigot Bay it was convenient for lunch when we were on the beach. Service was extremely slow. We ate there 3 times and each time was at least a 45 minute wait before getting our food. The girls were teenagers and especially liked the pasta dish and of course the French fries. Hamburgers were good... More

Marigot, Owner at Doolittle's, responded to this review

I find that your 45 minutes could be stretching it a bit but like all tourists I would beg to remind you that the heat is normally way into the 90's so it is not likely that the staff would be running around as in colder climates for 8 hours, relax and enjoy the beauty is my advice. More
