Best atmosphere and ribs you will experience virtually anywhere. The sea is quickly reclaiming Gwens current spot, but they will be opening on the other end of Shoal Bay in October. Search it out, great lunch and beautiful setting

We have not been to Gwen's in years and decided to stop by on this trip and was shocked at what mother nature has done to the beach but Gwen's is still there and they served up some tasty ribs and chicken and a mighty rum punch. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with them. Definitely a place... More

Yes, as others have noted, mother nature has eroded the beach, but it doesn't remove an inch of its jaw dropping beauty - it is a place as perfect as you can think of - so this review is not only about the restaurant, but also the beach it is based on. We had, as other reviewer has noted, the... More

Mother Nature has sure taken a toll on this beach restaurant. The beach is very eroded to the point that the palm trees used for the hammocks have fallen over, and the dining porch slants precariously. For us, Gwen's was never about the food, for unless you went on a day when someone was grilling, the food from the back... More

Great food. Great Vibe. Finally found a restaurant that played great music! We were only here for a couple hours and it was fairly quiet, but heard they get a good crowd the nights they have live music. The beach area was gorgeous. If you're looking for a great spot that makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean... More

Chicken sandwich was good but wouldn’t recommend it for kids as it had some kind of sauce all over it and some vegetables (couldn’t tell what kind with all the sauce…think it was onions and peppers). It was a great sandwich, just not a plain sandwich most kids would like. Best rum punch on the island! Finally found a place... More

This spot is literally right on the beach and off the beaten path road wise. The view is great, the water crystal clear and the the sand is powdery white. The food is pretty good and the ribs are what I recommend. It is on the expensive side for a plate of 4 ribs but hey, you are in paradise and... More

Caribbean beach bar and restaurant. Extremely rustic at the end of the beach at Shoal Bay East. Getting there is an adventure. The service was good and the food Ok but you go for the atmosphere of a rustic beach-bum bar at the end of Shoal Bay East. It isn't easy to get to and a good 15 minute walk... More

We went here a couple of Sundays. The first Sunday there were lots of people and the dance floor was packed. It was awesome!!!! You couldn't help but smile and laugh. It was such a good time. We had the ribs and chicken and it was good. The second Sunday it was still good energy. You cannot help but dance... More
