Dinner May 2015

Difficult to fault this restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service. Almost impossible to single out the best dishes but simply cooked crayfish is a favourite; seared tuna is superb. Discernible flavours in everything that is produced.

Don't waste a night of good eating on Anguilla by going to Jacala, especially when there are so many great restaurants on the island. Last year, we went several times and thought the food was excellent, though the service left a lot to be desired. This year, the entire experience was awful, from the food-- very burnt grilled crayfish (a... More

Amazing meal, order the lobster risotto or the Spanish tortilla. Great place, great view, great food, but bring your wallet.

Nice location. We walked over from mead bay villas. Beautiful setting. Staff very attentive. Everything that was fresh was great. I had Tuna tartar and local fresh cray fish. Both were great. Would return.

Wow, certainly get the French attitude but worth it. Jacques was helpful and the lobster risotto was magic. Best lunch we had on the island. I wouldn't miss it

Apart from the Owner/Maitre De Jacques who has all the typical French condescension and arrogance and then forgets to put in your order(!), the food here is very, very good and it is a wonderful setting. We went for Brunch and had a lovely time (sans Jacques) and then enjoyed using the beach chairs afterwards to relax on the beach.... More

Visited this restaurant with about 10 friends and we had a wonderful time here. One of our friends was getting married so we went there to celebrate with her. The manager a nice guy from the Dominican Rep was very nice to us. The service they offered was wonderful. They cater to our needs. They serve some really good rum... More

We recently spent a week in Anquilla and ate at a number of the excellent restraurants there including Straw Hat, Blanchard's, etc.. Jacala was the best experience for us. The combination of location (overlooking Mead's Bay) and Jacque's continental manner enhanced the excellent food. We made reservations several days ahead and were seated at a lovely beachfront table. If you... More

It was a real treat getting to eat at Jacala. The food was tremendous and Jacque was a great host. He gave us an awesome wine recommendation and also helped us decide which appetizers and entrees we got. The grilled Crayfish were delicious as was the complimentary house-made rum which they gave us after the meal. You won't be disappointed... More

This wonderful restaurant on Mead's Bay has captured the hearts of many. Right on the beach, this restaurant offers you an opportunity to lie in the sun with a bottle of wine while waiting for your table. Facing the northwestern view of the Atlantic Ocean, sunsets are a must. Reservations necessary.
