Have visited Prince of Wales recently. Staff were friendly and efficient and the food was lovely. Would recommend it!

There's not much to say about this place. Standard menu with sub standard tasting food. The staff are just 'not there' and lacks warmth in general.

Went here recently with some friends for an Evening Meal. The whole evening was a fiasco and we left without eating. Complained to the Head Office and got a largely unsatisfactory reply which was more about systems than Customer Service. The really worrying thing is that all food must be delivered in frozen portions and then banged into a microwave.... More

This pub used to be on our rota of good places to eat locally and over the years we’ve had some excellent meals there. But there’s been a change of ownership in the last year or so – and it shows. We were a party of 9 who had pre-booked. One member had even popped in a week earlier to... More

have been here several times recently however i came here last night with my boyfriend and a friend and i was very disappointed. i ordered the cod and chips. the batter was thin and not crispy and the chips tasted like old chips that had been microwaved! the pudding with the butterscotch sauce was not very pleasant either. the waitress... We went there today for a quick Sunday Dinner. Left it 'till 3.00 to miss the busiest period, and was shown straight to a table. Ordered fairly quickly, but food took along time to come out. My wife had the Pork Belly roast, which was very good, but not a lot of it. I and one other had the Lamb... More

They said it was duck but it was undercooked chicken wings with a cold sauce thrown over. Later someone else had the same dish but it looked cooked and crispy. If I had eaten what they presented to me I would have been at E and A all night. Next course just as bad, tough liver over packet mash. So... More

Went there today with a friend and her dog. First thing we noticed was a big board saying dogs can only go on the grass area and food will only be served on the patio area. In other words if you have a dog you can only have a drink here!!! It wasn't busy outside so when we asked if... More

Used the Prince of Wales a few times. It has a bit of a chequered history but the present owners Chef and Brewer are making a good attempt and improving it. Food is good value, nothing special but all prepared to good standard. Snack menu pretty boring and not much effort put in on presentation. Will return as restaurant menu... More
