Had breakfast with the girlfriend. The waitress was really friendly and sat us in the sun outside. Service from there was perfect and food was good! Served in cute teapots! Am going to make this a frequent stop :)

I arrived at Esher station on a Sunday with a half-hour wait and man in the ticket office recommended it for a cup of tea. I was one of the first customers of the day and the staff were lovely and quick. My sister bought a piece of cake to take away and after our visit to Sandown Park we... More

I read the reviews here and decided to give it a try. We enjoyed our visit but wouldn't go crazy about it. Inside is simple and nicely decorated, lovely garden but it's under the railway, garden chairs are not very comfortable though. I had the Full English, fiancé had the chicken sandwich. Food was simple and ok, the friendly service... More

This tea shop is worth a visit, parking is difficult but it is well worth the walk. You are made to feel you are an old friend visiting even if it is your first visit, the staff are so friendly and can not do enough for you. Breakfast, light lunches and afternoon tea is served always with a smile, The... More

We had a lovely afternoon tea here a few weeks ago. Very cheerful and accommodating staff and delicious food. We will definitely be back!

Tea here is lovely. The cakes are yummy and the little scones which go with the cream tea are truly light. It is Eshers hidden secret. Go and try it. I'm sure it will become a favourite.

I was so lucky to find this little place when I had half an hour to spare. I was looking for a place to have a peaceful bite to eat and read my book when I came across this lovely place. The food was very simple but delicious with a great choice of sandwiches, light lunches and cakes. I had... More

A very cheery and warm welcome, good food and pleasant lunch in the little courtyard garden. Not the most easy place to park and not the most quiet place to eat lunch but with the sunshine and the very quaint setting, we must say it was a very nice hour or so. The loos were very clean and the bone... More

I visited the Chocolate Teapot today with a group of tea loving friends and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The food was fresh and all tasted wonderful (althought rather controversially the sandwiches were cut in triangles rather than traditional fingers). The selection of cakes we were offered was good for such a small tearoom. The tea selectionwas limited, but there was... More

I don't know why people rave about this place. It is a very small tea shop with average cake. Not really worth going out of your way for, and impossible to park outside, as on a busy road near the railway bridge.
