This little gem is found just outside Esher Station. A little gem of a place where time seems to have stood still. Lovely tea shoppe fare perfectly served on classic china crockery. A lovely atmosphere to meet friends and enjoy time together

Small little cafe hidden next to esher statiom. I have unexpectedly became a regular. The scones were scrumptious, sandwiches were well made. Staff were friendly.

It's an odd location for a tea shop. Not really near anything other than Esher station. It's decked out like a granny's tea room but has a pretty mixed clientele. Service is friendly and personal, food and drink of good quality. Mini scones and homemade jam especially good. A cosy interlude on a rainy day.

Visited here for breakfast this morning for the first time and we were welcomed instantly by a lovely lady. Seated in the window of the lovely place decorated like the old style tea rooms. We had the chocolate teapot breakfast which was delicious and very filling and the waitress was on hand asking us how it is which was a... More

‘You’re about as useful as a Chocolate Teapot’ said one of my ladies yesterday – a saying quoted to her meaning ‘you’re useless’ but this in no way reflects upon the bountiful usefulness of this particular venue, The Chocolate Teapot Tearoom. Suitable for couples, families, friends and acquaintances alike, this perfectly sized tearoom can be found nestled beside Esher train... More

We booked here for a Sunday tea after hearing about it from friends. We weren't overwhelmed with the service and had to wait 15 minutes before we placed our order. I was slightly disappointed to be told we couldn't replace the tea for my daughter in our afternoon tea with a soft drink without paying the full soft drink price... More

I visited with my daughter and an older friend. We love the atmosphere and how sweet it is. The decor is cosy and clean. The staff are extremely attentive with high standards and very friendly. The menu is nice although no soup today which was a shame as two of us wanted it. We ordered and there was a long... More

Want to try this tearoom for awhile and it is not disappointed! It is a lovely traditional english tearoom, with pretty teapots and teacups decoration on the wall. Not only the decoration is lovely, its food is good as well. We've tried homemade scone and prawn sandwiches, both are very tasty. Staff are very friendly although they are very busy.
