Excellent food. not cheap, but good. Husband had sausage and onion baguette which was a meal in it's self. I had a bacon and mushroom sandwich, delicious!!!

Afternoon tea was disappointing, although the menu said selection of sandwiches we had to choose one filling and when it arrived it was a sandwich made from two large slices of bread rather than the dainty variety that are normally part of afternoon tea. That said the ham filling was good. The cherry scones were very good but the cake... More

We found this little tea room by accident and so glad we did. The scones are simply the best we have ever had, and with home made jam what more can you say. A tea room is a tea room really, they have to differ by having good home cooked food and this meets the criteria very well.

I suppose the cream lace table cloths are supposed to look 'vintage' but, along with tea stains (where I was seated), just appear tired. Fresh white or a pretty floral linen would brighten the place. A local artist may be willing to display their art. Some gentle music, particularly when the cafe is empty, would improve the atmosphere. Service is... More

Quaint little traditional tearoom will great customer service. Staff are friendly and cakes made on site. A little rough around the edges but nice friendly feel and cakes are nice.

Lovely little tearoom in Masham, in the Town Square. Well worth popping in to try their menu, which while simple is consistently very good. I would particularly recommend the scones as you are unlikely to find better.

Popped into Fancy That for a coffee and ended up having a rather nice piece of lemon cake whilst at it! Nice location right on the Market Square. But other than that, a fairly typical country coffee/tea shop.

We have been visiting this tea shop when we cycle in the Masham area. The service is excellent and the place is very clean. Great tea and coffee and the best bacon sandwich in Yorkshire. The fruit cake is also excellent. Best place in Masham for a cup of tea and a bun by a mile.

We visited here for a snack & a drink the day we arrived in Masham. It isn't huge but also has tables outside. Its clean with a great tea-room menu. The staff were friendly & helpful. We returned the next day just for a drink. We didn't realize it was near to closing time & were very surprised when the young... More
