Looked amazing from outside couldn't wait to visit... I had the deer in red wine and my friend had the veal with onions and paprika... They both looked the same but tasted different ,the deer was 'ok' but the veal was just fat and gristle.... It was accompanied with tasteless polenta and mushroom and brown beans... Had a bottle of... More

We finally tried Alla Lega which always seemed busy with larger groups, and whilst I like the setting under the vines, the whole experience was immediately spoiled by a very grumpy waiter. Compared to other restaurants and the general Italian friendliness, we were really taken aback here. The food was nice, the setting was lovely, but the service was as... More

The pergola is very nice, but it might get very hot in there while eating. Food is good and the plates are big. The "primi piatti" are great. Service goes too quick.

We had a great meal here, we couldn't fault it at all. My daughter loved the fact that we are eating in the open with a grapevine roof. Right next to the pretty little square as well.

The fold was really great but the waitors were very boring and didn't do anythinc else than their job. But portions were big and the quality of the food was hither than I had expected from such a touristy place.

Two years ago we really liked this restaurant. Many locals ate there and they had excellent food. Now, they speak german (as most of their customers) and the food is as good. They make good pasta.

The food was good but not Impressed after the high recommendation. Its a big place that hotels highly recommend. The service was a bit snobby, the atmosphere not as quaint as other local restaurants. The wine recommendation was not good and there was attitude from the server. The price was high. Thou the menu very interesting and it may be... More

despite out ward appearances this is not formal or stufft. the menu aoffers dishes rarely found in the UK like horse meat and hare. We were seated and attended to quickly-the hoiuse red (Merlot) was good. I had Salt cured meat "Carne Salada" and selected vegetables in oil-followed by Saltimbocca,my missis had a huge portion of Mussels "pipata" (a spicy... More

I could put up with every waiter assuming I was German, but when they repeated came back and spoke to me in German again it was a bit annoying. I would have much prefered to have been spoken to in Italian (as I would have understood!). The service was far too quick, I'd have thought we were on a reserved... More

Just a few years ago Alla Lega was a place worth a special visit, one hour drive. Now it was degraded in my list down to "avoid" status. About a year ago I visited it and was offended by a poor service together with a so-so food. I was disappointed and forgot the place. But by a matter of fortune... More
