A Mecca foe Sylt visitors. The most comprehensive wines and spirits list I have seen in my world travels. Food is fine. Unfortunately it has achieved cult status and therefore "over-popular", therefore crowded by "pilgrims". Chose a quieter time and enjoy something special.

If you visit Sylt this restaurant is a definite MUST GO! The atmosphere is great: you can see the North Sea, the food is excellent and the service is outstanding. We come here every time we visit Sylt. The crowd in the summer months is a bit overwhelming and it is hard to make a reservation for the evening, but... More

Located in the dunes of Rantum, this place feels cozy and relaxed. I have been here many times and the quality has gone downhill. Last time I ordered a Rib Eye steak that was far from good. This place has been a meeting spot for German TV personalities. This is why it is a bit snobby but that's part of... More

I had a great experience in Sansibar even it was mid-August, sunny day, the place was crowded inside and outside, but we could manage to get a nice table and a very nice lunch. I had an amazing salad with Serrano ham, figs, melon and honey vinagrette. Simply perfect. The food of my partner was also great. I found the... More

This place was absolutely perfect...! The food was as good as I was told. And also the wine list. The people who work there are really nice and always so gentle.

This place is a Sylt Icon. It's a must when visiting. The food is very good and the menu is vast. They have a fantastic wine list. The staff are very helpful. The perfect place to relax and eat. I will return as soon as I get a chance.

and I am the small boy calling him naked. Sylt is the most hyped German north sea island and Sansibar THE place to go. This thing is a text book case for successful marketing of a product without a lot of substance. We went there for lunch last week and after some waiting got a nice table. The restaurant is... More

Great brunch, great time! We had brunch there, service was awesome, super cosy environment. It was a cold rainy day, perfect coffee to warm up.

This is such a popular place. At 14:00 on a wet Tuesday in November it was busy. The service was great. Cool young wait staff. To really fit in you need a big black Mercedes and a large dog but even without those you'll have a good meal in unique surroundings. We had lunch; a fish of the day and... More
