We had the pleasure of dining here in May. The dining room is full of stimulating art work, some on a monumental scale. When we arrived, began with glasses of Prosecco. We were delighted that we were served a tray with several delicious dips, olives, and cheese accompanied by interesting Sardinian breads (as an offering of the house.) When we... More

While passing through we found this 3 star hotel and restaurant in a quiet side street. We usually like where the locals eat but the Sardinian cous cous was superb. Our host was charming and chatty. The hotel looks lovely as well though this was just our farewell to sardinia meal and well worth it

This was a fabulous, fabulous place. Loved every minute. Amazing venue, with fantastic service and excellent food. A great wine list and menu. Best Italian in Sardinia.

We visited this restaurant in 2011 and the food was superb so on our trip to Sardinia this year we made a special de tour to eat here, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. It appeared that they were trying to be more modern with their food in terms of presentation and flavours but unfortunatly they just did not pull... More

Visited this restaurant in July 2013 and actually went twice during a 5 day stay in Orosei. The first time we visited we found the food to be very good and we also enjoyed the ambience of the little roof terrace where dinner was served. Service was attentive but I feel the maitre'd may be a little like marmite -... More

Went there because of the reviews and though the experience was in no way bad, it was far from being one of our favorites in Sardinia. Positives: Kind, funny & trilingual waiter. He was great. Creative food, I'll give them that. The Black Ravioli with bottarga was good. Great wine & Beer List. Negatives: I am vacation and patient in... More

Found the servers snobby and annoying. When we asked about an appetizer the table over was having, we were told it was only for those who had reserved beforehand. Picked another starter only to be told they were out. Good food but the service left a bad taste in my mouth.

I know Hotel Ristorante Su Barchile from 1986, had countless lunches and dinners there and it is still my absolute favorite regarding dining with style and a exclusive, exceptional creative cuisine in Sardinia. Not only the Restaurant is beautiful done up, the terrace on the first floor is a relaxing space for dinner, whe wine cellar is filled with the... More

My husband and I met the owners when we arrived. This was our second night in Sardinia and after flying from the state we were exhausted. We stayed at the bed and breakfast and decided to dine their as well. The wait staff recommended some great food options for us. The seating outside is lovely!

Food was ok. Watch out that you are clear what you are ordering. When I asked for fish the waitress finished the sentence for me, which I naively said yes, I've got a surprise with the bill when this fish was 3 times more expensive than the one I intended. Same with the wine, they tried to sell me a... More
