I do not usually drink beer, but it was a fabulous local one in beautiful bottles.just go and see! It is called beer happy I think. The food and the restaurant were splendid although the staff were not very attentive. They are very pleasant but difficult to divert them from chatting with customers who are obviously regulars or friends. This... More

The outside belies the pleasures to come, but don't be alarmed at the lack of a menu as the maître d will walk you through days specials. We arrived early for Italy and the tables were soon full so be warned because the food is exceptional and the choice of wines is mind numbing. We went for a local red... More

Visited following reading a review recommendation primarily because it was convenient to our hotel. The restaurant didn't look particularly attractive from the exterior but we were pleasantly surprised to find a quirky restaurant spread across three areas giving it a very cosy feel. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Ingredients and wine were predominantly local. The food was... More

After we visited the scavi we needed refreshment and wanted to escape from the establishments offering menu touristico that we had seen as we walked down from the train station. To reach it, make a right on the Corso Resina immediately after exiting the ruin complex. It's about 5-10 minutes walk along the road, on the right side. Pleasant service,... More

Food was well cooked and presented although not cheap. Service was a bit haphazard as it was busy. Nicely situated near the ruins of Herculaneum and staff were helpful.

We discovered this place after visiting the ruins and we were famished! It is a nice restaurant, which I also a wine bar. The only have a menu with suggestions. We started with the antipasta:5 small dishes ehich were delicious: pumpkin soup, mozzarella, vongole, zucchini flower with ricotta, grilled veggies. With a glass of the Spumante from the flanks of... The food is refined and sophisticated, the wine list is superb with some real surprises, and the service is warm and friendly without being intrusive.

As we drove into Ercolano we were a little apprehensive. The town looks very run down. We walked to this restaurant from our hotel with quite low expectations. The service was delightful. The waitress translated the black board menu for us. No mention of cost. The food was world class. The shared anti pasto plate was devine. The shared dessert... More

I was in Naples for a business visit, and my business colleagues from Naples had decided to choose this place for spending the evening. It is close to the Ercolano excavation site, as I observed while traveling in Ercolano. But it is a good distance from Fuorigrotta, and I was hoping that the food would be worth the ride. It... We walked along to this restaurant after visiting Herculaneum and because it was quite late for lunch we thought it might be closed. However, not so; the staff were very welcoming, translated the blackboard menu for us and produced a delicious meal of soup, fish and dessert. We had wine by the glass and coffee and the price was extremely... More
