Lovely!

Came here for a Mother's Day Sunday lunch and was very much satisfied with what we ate. The portion of beef we had each was huge and melted in the mouth. Definitely recommend the Sunday lunch here 10/10

My wife and I took our two grand daughters to the Glan for Sunday lunch... Once again we were not dissapointed.... The food was very tasty and the portions were large, even the kids portions... Thanks to Lisa and Alysha for looking after us....

Extremely disappointed. We were hoping for a hearty Valleys meal but instead received an overpriced unfulfilling meal. Having worked in pubs & 5* restaurants in Wales, never have I served a tiny fillet of lamb & a small dollop of mash for £13.95! I am well aware that the fillet is an expensive piece of meat, however this cut was... More

I attended a friends birthday party on Saturday night, and I have never felt so welcomed as I did in the glancynon, there was a very large party of us ( around 45-50) the food was amazing , I had cod and my husband had the steak and ale pie . The drinks were of good price and went down... More

Excellent . The Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious . Fantastic beef ,melted in your mouth . Generous portions of vegetables and stunning roast potatoes. The gravy was outstanding . Would recommend this pub lunch to anyone looking for a great meal . The staff were so helpful and polite and made us feel very welcome.

Went to the Glancynon for a Valentines night meal. The staff were very attentive even though they were rushed off their feet. We had a lamb main course which was absolutely stunning and huge portions too. The pub though going through difficult times at the moment is a credit to the village.

Visited on Friday 2nd December. We were a party of five. All the courses were excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We live in the west midlands but when we revisit Aberdare later this year we will return.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly and food portions were large. However, the quality of food was poor. The meal was cold, the carrot soup had a piece of chicken in (I am vegetarian) and the food tasted as though it had been microwaved.
