The soup is quite tasty. They do get extremely busy and trying to get some service can prove a challenge, but other than that... Great Pho.

Well if you really into phone then go. But its just a pho you will get on several corners throuout Lao, Vietnam etc. I think you don't eat pho because of the taste but more of the experience. Therefore better go across the street same pho local shop...

The best pho soup I have had in six weeks around SE Asia. Simple menu with about five options. The small size bowl is ample food for breakfast. Fresh, fast and very tasty. Get in early before they run out as they are usually closed around early afternoon. Also coffee and fresh juices available. Very popular and busy place but... More

Very tasty pho at a reasonable price - can get cheaper, but you have to trek for it! Make sure you get in before noon - sometimes they're sold out by 11:30!

I put a bit on my review of the Hotel. The Pho was incredible, I made the error of ordering a large one the first day and despite a valiant effort I had to concede defeat - probably enough to share if you are on a super budget! if not go Small (it isn't). Of course no great prize comes... More

Here's the complete menu at the Lankham Noodle Shop: (1) Noodle Soup with Meat (big); (2) Noodle Soup with Meat (small); (3) Noodle Soup No Meat; (4) Baguette with Butter; (5) Baguette with Egg. That's it (there are a variety of drinks, too). They stick to some basics and do them well. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

Vietnamese style but real tasted of Loas soup… delicious. Beef Pho in a large bowl (50THB or around 1.25EUR) served with steamed cabbage, beans & chili sauce. If you stay in Pakse, better to try Pho at Lan Kham.

Excellent pho-style soup in a large bowl. Extras of fresh cabbage and green beans were included. There are excellent chilli and related sambals available and with a large Beer Lao the bill came to $US3.75!

If you're in Pakse, you have got to try the pho here. They go to the markets daily to get fresh ingredients. From what I recall, they only sell up till midday when there is no more broth left. Don't expect to come later in the day because it'll be all gone. The locals come daily and you may see... More

Fantastic soup with real flavour and all the trimmings included (cabbage, mint, long beans, chilli, sauces, etc) The service is prompt, the staff are friendly and the coffee is also great. Its always packed with locals which is as clear a sign as you can get that you are onto a winner. Three cheers for the Lankham, hurra, hurra, hurra... More
