My wife and I stayed in a Villa within sight of Lygia harbour, so locating Skaloma was quite easy. We visited Skaloma for 2 evening meals (Sun and Fri ) during our stay. Whilst agreeing that the setting, sunsets, prices and quality of food were very, very good. We did have questions about the availability of locally caught fish. On... More

A lovely restaurant, off the beaten track by the small harbour in Lygia. Watch the sun go down as you enjoy the delicious food and local wine, and enjoy being in a special place. It's fantastic value too and you certainly don't feel that you're part of a tourist merry-go-round as we did when visiting Parga for dinner one evening.... More

We stayed in Preveza (the town) and made the ~20km trip to Skaloma. Great seafood in a small fisherman village. Ordered 3 main courses with beer, coffee and baklava for desert for a reasonable 43EUR. The clams are really recommended!

A friend recommended this beautiful fish taverna so we called in on our way back from a trip to Arta.It is in a wonderful position overlookig the small port of Ligia. The taverna is spotlessly clean and well laid out.Obviously fish is the main part of the menu. The owner invited us into the kitchen to show us the fresh fish available.We... We read about this place from the reviews of other cruising sailors that this was an excellent fish restaurant. We were down in Preveza so we went to Lygia by scooter. We had a lovely meal. Great Calamari, Saganaki and prawn saganaki as well. The bread was fresh and the view is outstanding. This place is really out of the... More

Nice setting, good service, excellent food at decent prices. We ordered small fish and mezedes, were all very good and fresh. However, it was quite hard to find. So, in order to help future visitors, it is in Lygia, after the church, towards the port.

Food is gorgeous and very tasty, view is on the fantastic Ionian sea, Lygia is halfway between parga and Preveza, close to Acheron River. One of the best Greek restaurant I've ever eaten, squid, mussels, octopus, everything delicious. Definetely worth a visit if you are visiting Igoumenitza area.

After reading some reviews we desided to visit this restaurant. Great food, simply cooked to enjoy the freshness of the products. Reasonable prices for the quality you get. Very good service, nice and simple decoration and beautiful view to the small harbor. Definitely recommended!

You find this restaurant at the harbour in Lygiá, north of Preveza, near Riza (more or less halfway between Preveza and Parga). They serve excellent fish dishes, many from the charcoil grill, much better than the average taberna. Go there on sunday afternoon, take care to arrive at 2 pm, and you will see all the locals arrive, until there's... More
