Menu was small but my family was very pleased with the options which were beyond the simple fish+chips available everywhere else.

An absolute rip off. I felt sickened that I spent so much money on pathethic excuses for burritos. They had cucumbers in them and some weird white salad dressing. Who has ever heard of that??? And we asked for vegetarian and there were no beans. Just some unseasoned white rice. Was more like a wrap that tasted like cardboard than... More

When we visited Tobermory this place was the first (and at that point only) restaurant we saw after parking near the tourist info building and walking into town. It was colourful and immediately grabbed our attention. The taco's seemed a bit overpriced but we were hungry so we stopped in. After ordering it was made clear it would take over... More

This colorful location/eyesore (depending on your point of view) seems to be a couple of eclectic women's clothing stores with some outdoor decorations and, as of our trip, a taco stand. After a day on the lake in sea kayaks, we stopped to take a load off and grab a light supper. The food folks were super nice and we... More

This place always attracted our eyes but it was never opened. Even for a late night drink, during the week. Maybe its only open on weekends? Nothing for lunch nothing for dinner on mondays tuesdays and wednesdays. Kinda sucked.

This is the most amazing clothing store and a very dangerous place for a Mother and her two fashion conscious daughters to visit. Luckily it is right next to the Royal Canadian Legion, so my husband was able to have some beers while us girls spent two hours here. And yes, we probably spent more money than we should have.... Much of the inventory is Asian made, but is available in a good range of sizes including larger. Styles and designs are unusual and colorful and range from very casual to very eclectic. Occasionally you, please find something made there such as necklaces with an oddity of items strung on them or fantastic sweater coats crafted from dozens of pieces of... More

The restaurant has changed hands, it is not Mermaids Secret any more, and the food is not the funky healthy fare that it used to be. The new name is the much less appealing "Sharkies Grill" and the food, though OK, is less imaginative and more commonplace. The Mermaid store is still next door and remains a place to find... More
