High prices, OK food

Restaurant was at our hotel on Bora Bora, and there weren't many other options for eating outside of the hotel. The food was fine, nothing special. Prices are quite high - but this is to be expected in Bora Bora. Service was excellent.

We were staying at the IC Le Moana and ate out at 8 different eating places. This rated one of our favourites. On a lovely evening we sat outside on the comfortable outdoor furniture. we sipped cocktails, ate fish tacos and pizza. The memories, the tranquility, the atmosphere was excellent. Wait staff were helpful and friendly, without being over the... More

We went to the Intercontinental for lunch one day. It is on a beautiful beach and our kids enjoyed a quick dip in the pool while we sipped cocktails. So far so good, unfortunately the food was mediocre. We had mainly local based dishes like Poisson Cru, but the portions were small (OK if it was fine dining), had 'twists'... More

We stayed at the IC Thalasso and were on the breakfast and dinner meal plan. We had one of our dinners at Vini Vini after an afternoon of shopping on "mainland" Bora Bora and enjoying the spectacular sunset from Matira Beach. The food was very good and the service friendly and not rushed. Our children enjoyed playing pool in the... More

Staying at the Intercontinental Moana, we opted to eat several meals at the bar instead of the restaurant. We had burgers and "fishburgers". The burgers were very good, cooked to order and of pretty high quality. The fish sandwiches were excellent, though the size and quality varied some from meal to meal. The food was relatively reasonable in price. The... More

We had three lunches here.....not many options on Bora Bora at lunch. The first day, the lunch was very good, the second day it was pretty good, the last day, (same meal as day one) the food was subpar...way subpar. Overall the service was fine...not stellar but fine. Prices ranged from reasonable to over the top depending what you ordered.... More

We chose this restaurant for lunch because of its location on Matira Pointe and its location within an Inter-Continental resort which we assumed would guarantee its excellence. The location IS superb/gorgeous and we were warmly greeted and seated at a great table overlooking the stunning view. Our party of 7 ordered drinks and lunch and then over the next 2-1/2... More
