We went to St james restaurant for dinner one night during our honeymoon in Bora Bora in June this year. It was a wonderful night. The cocktails and drinks from the bar were very nice and quite reasonably priced. The food was great very decent portions. The wait staff and bar staff very friendly. Definately reccommend this restaurant

After reading a lot of reviews about dining in Bora Bora, St James seemed (for a few reasons) like the way to go. We booked our dinner through our hotel and we were picked up by a private shuttle just outside the WAN pearl store. A quick drive to the restaurant and we were promptly seated on the balcony which... My husband and I spent the one dinner we took away from our resort at Le St James, and we were so glad we did. The food was fantastic (specifically the Tuna 5 ways) and the waterside table for 2 under the small canopy was a quiet little place for 2 newlyweds to whisper sweet nothings under the stars. The... We went to downtown from our resort to look for souvenirs . From previous TA reviews I wanted to try St James for lunch. About a 10 min walk from boat docks, food was excellent. We enjoyed a 3 course fixed price menu for lunch for under $60 for two. Service was slow and we probably wouldn't have minded had... More

Went into town today via boat from our resort Four Seasons, we're advised to skip Bloody Marys and visit St James. I had the lobster which was out of this world! My boyfriend had the Tuna Steak, it was just as wonderful. It's a small place, service is very laid back. The staff very friendly. If in Vaitape, go ave... More

If you go to town for the day, shop for trinkets and head here for lunch. We had delicious tuna tartare, a tomato and goat cheese pastry and some of the best Mahi Mahi of our trip. Sit outside and enjoy the view.

My husband an I are a bit of food snobs and this restaurant met our expectations. The st Jacques carpaccio was amazing and the black olive sorbet was a delicious and creative match. The papio was marvelous. The sauce was a wonderful mix with this delicious firm white fish. Lastly the corrosol ice cream was the effect ending to our... More

We ate here twice during our stay, once for lunch and once for dinner. The menu is the same for both, so there is a lot of choice. Given the location by the water I would recommend going for lunch over dinner as you can sit out and watch the world go by with a glass of wine. They do... More

We ate here during our stay in borabora. The food was excellent and the prices were really reasonable. On the resort you pay about 250 a meal, but you could have a three course meal for two with wine for under 150.

We had planned to go to Bloody Mary's, but at the last minute found out they were closed, so we had to go somewhere else. Found St. James recommended in our guide book, and I am so glad we went. We never went to Bloody Mary's, but I picture it as a Hard Rock Cafe kind of place- this is... More
