Good lunch spot

Good place to hit up for lunch. We stopped by several times for lunch. Everything we ordered was great - pizza, spaghetti, cheeseburger, croque monsieur etc. Shakes were excellent too. Highly recommend.

You have 2 basic choices for meals in the main town of Vaitape, a snack shop and the Aloe Cafe. We chose the Aloe cafe as it was larger with a good selection of menu items including pizzas, sandwiches, desserts, beer and wines. We shared a pizza which was surprisingly tasty and had beer and wine to drink. I tried... More

We came to Aloe Café at 5:05 pm on Saturday, they just closed. On Sunday they were closed. When we finally came on Monday we wanted to buy some baked goods and pastry. The choice was very limited, just 2 choices actually: éclairs and apple tart. And it didn’t taste good. It was very disappointing; we had higher expectations for... More

Stopped in this restaurant in Vaitape during our Bora Bora vacation. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the meals. My wife ordered their seafood pasta and I ordered their ham and mozzarella Panini. The seafood pasta tasted better than a previous upscale restaurant we had visited the previous evening. The Panini tasted great as well and it came... More

Lovely café in Bora Bora with WIFI (so very popular). Friendly service and excellent seafood salad! It was very hot outside and the shaded terrace was very welcoming. Unfortunate that smoking was permitted :-(

Aloe Cafe is a casual cafe for a lunch stop or to just basically chill in the shade away from the afternoon sun or to rest after exploring Vaitape... Food wise, hit-and-miss. First visit, had the seafood with cream sauce, but I wish the ingredients were more fresh (I suspect the seafood weren't local but either frozen and/or imported). Had... More

We had a seafood pasta dish that was really great for the money. Service is slow, but Bora Bora is french and on island time, so get comfortable and I hope you don't mind the smell of cigarette smoke. And remember, the Spaghetti has the Carbonara. There was a page in the menu where the English translation were not the... More

The food here was just average, but the service was surly and slow. To be fair, they were full when we arrived. Perhaps at a slower time, service would have improved.

We had pizza and it was good. The place was packed out with mostly tourist. Prices are moderate. Nothing fancy here, just a good choice for a quick meal. We would go back again if visiting the commerical center of Vaitape, Bora Bora.
