Description: Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers. In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!

Food was excellent. It verges on Indian vegetarian fusion food. Service was efficient but not friendly. Was visiting a friend in Stockport n travelled from London. It is a case of been there n done it. Wouldn't rush to go again.

First visit, excellent South Indian flavours. Bombay potatoes and Pani Puri were just like we have tasted in India (in fact the Pani Puri was even better). The best thing however, was our waiter, Moin; refreshing to see someone who cares so much about the food they serve. Moin helped us out with choices and combinations, even getting the ratios... More

We had a fantastic night eating fabulous South Indian food prepared with care, stunning flavour and presented with style. Cannot recommend it highly enough... Stunning and worth every penny!

Been coming here for years (since before they were famous) and strangely never written a review so time to put that right, I love Prashad, have since the first time I went there many years ago. The food was different to anything I had eaten before and very fresh and flavoursome with friendly waiting staff, none of that has changed... More

First visit, expensive but some good tastes. As a meat eater, missed the protein. Saturday lunchtime quiet but two noisey families spoilt the ambience

I had a takeaway this evening and was very impressed. My son is vegetarian and on the spur of the moment we were both planning on arriving home late from work at around the same time and decided to get a takeaway. I had heard of Prashads, but never had a chance to visit, but it was (kind of) on... More

visited a few months ago for a friends birthday. Absolutely delicious meal - as a non veggie I was a little concerned as to whether I would enjoy but i needn't have worried. Plenty of choice - many things I'd never seen before - and certainly everything I ate I thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend - so much we're going back... More

Our son and his girlfriend who are strict vegetarians, took us recently for our first visit to Prashad. They absolutely love the food and we were not disappointed. Everything was cooked to perfection with beautifully fresh ingredients for all courses. Plates and dishes were hot, glasses and cutlery polished and the whole ambience of the restaurant was beautifully clean and... More

I am within walking distance of Prashad, and went for the first time last night, the old Victoria pub as it once was seems like a million miles away now it is prashad. The décor is beautiful and the layout on 3 floors makes it a wonderful atmosphere . But not being a veggie it is difficult to judge and... More
