Description: Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers. In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!

Anybody looking for a 'different curry' can not afford to miss out on this culinary delight. The team pride themselves on producing high end authentic Indian vegetarian food at a price affordable to most. The new restaurant is spacious and comfortable but maintains the intimate atmosphere that you got from the premiss in Bradford where the team where situated not... More

We were really enjoying this meal at starters. The curries were a bit of a disappointment in comparison. They do have other mains which are not straightforward curries and maybe give those a try. Still, the overall experience still deserves 4 stars. Some different dishes to your normal Indian restaurant and those starters are packed with flavour.

We visited again over the Christmas period and the food was amazing! It was a really nice change from the usual festive food! We brought 4 family members, one of whom was a bit sceptical of the solely vegetarian menu, however, they absolutely loved it! We're not vegetarian by any means, but the variety of different dishes on offer ensures... More

Taken here for a birthday meal and the restaurant exceeding my expectations. Soon as we sat down we were handed taster spoons and the attention to detail was second to none throughout. We went for the platter of starters to share and each nibble was interesting and tasteful. The The gujwari naan and coconut beers were highlights! Only regret was... More

Really blown over by the food at Prashad. I'ld googled south indian food in Bradford to follow a shopping trip from a well known Scandinavian furniture store nearby and what a find! It was less than 3 miles from the shop we had been to and the food was just immense! It appears that the restaurant was in a Gordon... More

Having heard a lot about this restaurant we decided to visit on New Years Eve. we were not disappointed. The place was busy but our table was ready as we arrived and the service was great. The menu was very different to any other Indian restaurant we had experienced but the staff were only too willing to explain the different... More

My husband and I would love to THANK the PRASHAD team for an evening of fantastic food. The set menu was outstanding value at £25 per person and consisted of most of the items not being available on the standard menu. Now i personally prefer savoury food however in my opinion the outstanding course was the dessert, Cinnamon cheesecake, which... More

Been there couple of years ago for dinner. After watching Prashad win second place on Best of Britain, I knew I had to eat there! So on our next trip to the UK, my husband and I made sure to make the pilgrimage to Prashad and we were not disappointed, on the contrary we were blown away by the food,... More
