Description: Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of...
Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers. In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!

When the Michelin guide recommends a restaurant as Bib Gourmand: Good cooking at moderate prices, you generally know you're onto a good thing. Well this place deserves every accolade it has received and will continue to receive. I'm not a vegetarian but Prashad is so good you can forget that there's no meat. I ordered the thali and trusted in... More

The combination of exquisitely prepared food, a beautifully designed restaurant and polite staff made our meal a rich and uplifting experience. The family who run the restaurant have developed Indian vegetarian cooking into a gourmet art form. This restaurant, although off the beaten track, is well worth the pilgrimage.

My girlfriend booked this restaurant for a birthday meal. I wasn't really too excited about it to be honest. But I thought I'd give it a try! We had a sharing platter to start with which was really really good! So many flavours. An a great option if your not sure what starter to get. Then we ordered 2 curries... More

When I first entered the restaurant staff were very welcoming.the place was nicely decorated and clean. I felt the food was very overpriced for vegetarian and bland it would have been cheaper in a normal Indian restaurant felt riped off. I have never in my life seen a roti like that it was thin like tracing paper. Wasn't a huge... More

Hi rksmrm, sorry you did enjoy your meal, the rotli you refer to are hand rolled and the most delicate part of a traditional gujarati meal, as we are a gujarati restaurant we take pride in offering real authentic difference, we feel these rotli help you enjoy your meal without being over faced, also we keep the menu small to... Although I am an Indian myself, there are some things I cannot make perfectly at home (eg: masala dosa) and the place never lets me down. I am pleased to see that the family business is booming thanks to the publicity received from Gordon Ramsay's best British restaurant finals. I now see a lot more Britishers here compared to when... We visited Preshad tonight with some friends for a birthday. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere. We were greeted when we arrived and shown to our table. The menu is large and everything looked good. I had the sharing platter to start and shared with my other half. Food was delicious, well seasoned and perfectly cooked.... More

went to prashads today, told to wait for 10 mins as did not book, place was half empty. Prices are ridiculous an not worth for what you get, 330ml sprite bottle £2.20 daylight robbery. Pani puri looked gone of did not bother eating it, bhel an dosa no taste to it at all. Overrated an would not recommend to anyone.
